Designed in Switzerland with discretion in mind, the new B&T SPR300 PRO comes tailored for the U.S. market.  The new PRO model now accepts STANAG pattern magazines, comes chambered in 300 Blackout, and accepts AR-pattern accessories.  Thanks to B&T, I was able to spend a couple months reviewing this rifle to see just how good the new PRO model could be.

In this episode of TFBTV, James Reeves reviews the rare, only-400-made B&T KH9-SD, a compact 9mm pistol caliber carbine that competes directly with the H&K MP5-SD, but with a couple of amazing features. For one, the KH9-SD has a ported barrel with an integral suppressor that slides under a custom handguard. Second, the KH9 can accept Suomi quad-stack magazines and Suomi drums! In the past, there’s been a fair bit of debate whenever I started talking about PDW-style firearms. While I have carried a PDW-style firearm in the past and they are one of my favorite weapon types to shoot, I don’t typically carry them daily. Over the last month, however, I have gotten a number of questions about how to carry PDW-style weapons and if there’s anything that can make it easier. At the end of the day, they are usually fairly large and require a plan once you decide to carry them. Let’s take a closer look at some tips for PDW carry that will make your life easier.

After a lengthy Form 3 delay, the new B&T SPR300 PRO finally arrived this week. This new version of the B&T SPR300 may look like the old but represents a total overhaul of the original design. Let’s take a look at what’s new on the Brugger & Thomet SPR300 PRO.

From time to time it happens. We got a fan mail and a private contribution to our Photo Of The Day. Attached was an image taken at this year’s USASOC Sniper Competition at Fort Bragg. This competition happened a few months ago, and the image shows one of the Special Forces soldiers whom Team France sent to compete. He is running a B&T Rotex-V suppressor, as they all do on their Heckler & Koch HK416s. We love quality contributions like this.

Few things in life are as universally loved as integrally suppressed firearms. From the MP5SD to guns like the Maxim 9 and AS VAL, there is just something unique and fascinating about integrally suppressed arms. That is why B&T is excited to announce the introduction of their precision bolt-action .300 Blackout integrally suppressed rifle, the SPR300 PRO.

Just shy of thirty years ago, in May of 1991, Karl Brügger and Heinrich Thomet established a company to produce suppressors for their domestic Swiss market. Though Thomet has since moved on, today Brügger and his team are still working to manufacture what they believe are “some of the most technologically advanced, high performance weapons in the business.” Many would agree with this assessment, and more than a few of these B&T fans work here at TFB. These are meant to be premium guns, and they carry premium price tags, but plenty of shooters who have tried them will attest to their quality.

For readers that are familiar with the German Army rifle trials, and the Haenel piston operated rifle submission, a pistol version of that rifle is being imported by B&T. Haenel’s pistol version, dubbed the B&T 15 for the importation, should be available by mid-2021. The B&T 15 will feature 100 percent German-made parts and will have quite a few features over a standard AR-15 patterned rifle or pistol.
