Looking for a new short-barreled rifle? B&T USA is introducing new APC9 models with their newly released MBT telescoping and folding stock, with either a 6.9-inch or a longer 8.9-inch barrel. However, the biggest news is the new aluminum lower receiver with ambidextrous controls and a flared magazine well. Both models come with a tri-lug muzzle device attachment.

SK Customs announced a Mexican Revolution-themed series of 1911 pistols called La Revolución with the first gun in the series being the Pancho Villa limited-edition pistol. They’re all going to be chambered in .38 Super, with a high-polished frame, slide, barrel and hardware engraved with selective silver and gold plating on the slide. Pancho Villa (1878-1923) was a Mexican revolutionary and guerilla leader, and one of the most important characters of the Mexican Revolution.

Streamlight has added new Low Profile Tactical Lights with either red or green lasers suitable for subcompact handguns. The red laser version is named TLR-8 sub and the green laser is TLR-8 G sub. Both come with a 500-lumen light. Streamlight claims that the light runs for 1.5 hours and the laser for 11 hours, on a single CR123A lithium battery. Furthermore, the light has ambidextrous rear paddle controls, a strobe function, and comes with an IPX4 water-resistance rating.

AAC is a brand known for its suppressors, but they recently started producing ammunition as well. Their lineup currently includes options in 9mm, 5.56, and 300 Blackout. Recently, they announced a 77-grain 5.56 load featuring the famous Sierra MatchKing bullet.

VK Integrated Systems has announced the VK320 grip module for the SIG Sauer P320 family of handguns. You can order it in black or tan, in full or EDC/Carry sizes, with the safety cut or without. The new grip modules have VK Integrated Systems’ logotype as a grip pattern and the backstraps are interchangeable. This product is made in the USA and is said to be compatible with all standard holsters and magazine base pads made for the P320.

TALO Distributors has announced a line of exclusive Tristar Bristol side-by-side shotguns from Tristar Arms that are the first TALO Tristar exclusive guns. There are five TALO exclusive Tristar Bristol models chambered in 12 Gauge, 16 Gauge, 20 Gauge, 28 Gauge to 410 Bore. They all feature 28″ barrels, auto ejectors and come with 5 Beretta chokes. The stocks have a pistol grip, and are made out of Turkish walnut. The receivers are color case hardened.

Patriot Ordnance Factory (POF-USA) has added 6mm Creedmoor as an option for their Prescott and Revolution semi-automatic models. They both use 22” barrels with 1:8 rifling, POF’s 3-port break, a 14.5” MMR handguard, a single-stage match trigger made by POF, and MFT pistol grip. The new 6mm Creedmoor Revolution (MSRP from $2,903) and Prescott (MSRP from $2,365) are available in bronze or black anodized finish.

Savage Arms has released the A22 TAKEDOWN, which they call a “go-anywhere rimfire rifle“. This is a take-down semi-automatic .22LR rimfire rifle with an 18” carbon steel barrel and low-profile sights. For optics and other attachments, there is also a 0-MOA Picatinny rail with an iron sight channel through it. According to Savage Arms, you only need a simple twist to break down the rifle. The MSRP is set at $479.

Specifically designed for backcountry hunts where weight is of chief concern is the new Silencer Central Banish Backcountry suppressor. Shorter, quieter, and lighter, the Banish Backcountry is made from high-quality titanium and is a scant 5.7-inches in overall length with a mount, and weighs only 7.8 ounces making it a full 1.3 inches shorter and 2.2 ounces lighter than the Banish 30 in its shortest configuration. The Banish Backcountry suppressor allows you to pack in ounces, shoot at hear-safe levels, and then pack out pounds on your next backcountry hunt.

Advanced Armament Company has a new series of rifle suppressors called Ranger made with a focus on users of the AR15 and AR10 rifles. The new suppressor line currently includes two models – Ranger 5 and Ranger 7. They are both made out of Inconel 718 high-strength nickel alloy steel and 17-4 H900 stainless steel, and are rated for full-auto. In case you didn’t know, Formula One cars use exhausts made out of Inconel because of the performance of this material in very hot environments.

Smith & Wesson is building on the success of their M&P 9EZ series of pistols with the introduction of the new Equalizer pistol. Smith & Wesson Equalizer aims to balance power, capacity, and usability with some of the best features that Smith & Wesson has been able to produce and paired it with their easy-to-rack technology to give you the new Equalizer 9mm handgun to level the playing field.

Springfield Armory is now offering their Hellcat Pro 9x19mm CCW pistol in Desert FDE. The frame is molded from the polymer in Desert FDE, and the slide uses a matched Cerakote finish. Apart from looking great in this color, the slide is Optics Ready using the Springfield Micro footprint.

Rosco Manufacturing has released an 11.5” K9 barrel in Crucible 416R with a nitrided finish. Their proprietary patrol length gas system is claimed to offer a smoother recoil than a carbine length system. They recommend a 10″ minimum length for the handguard. The muzzle thread pitch, if you want to add a suppressor or other muzzle devices is 1/2 x 28.

Streamlight has a new Tactical Light called the ProTac 2.0. The flashlight has three operating modes: High, Medium, Low – all controlled via one hand. With the High setting, you get 2,000 lumens and 17,300 candela; on the Medium setting, it provides 570 lumens and 5,000 candela. The Low setting gives you 100 lumens and 890 candela. The MSRP is $195.

Noveske Rifleworks has a lottery where winners get the opportunity to purchase a “Swamp Rat” rifle. This SBR is designed in collaboration with WRMFZY, in homage to America’s OG Swamp Rats.

Snakestaff Systems has announced a new Everyday Carry Tourniquet (ETQ). They want you to think about their ETQ as the SIG 365 of TQs – both are small and designed for carry and concealment. Some of the features include a carabiner windlass lock to hold the windlass securely in place, a textured windlass to increase grip if there is blood and a chem light that breaks upon application.

Hornady’s 2023 product releases include the new Ammo Cabinet. It offers organization and secure storage for ammunition and reloading components. The Ammo Cabinet is also compatible with Hornady’s Square Lok accessories.

Hornady has announced a new reloading scale for 2023 with a 0.01-grain readout. The new Precision Lab Scale promises increased accuracy for the discerning reloader, as well as some convenient features for those who are data-obsessed.

Hornady’s 2023 product announcements continue with the Square-Lok organization system. It uses a system of vertical panels to mount various shelves or hooks. Users can customize the placement of these accessories to organize their guns and gear to their liking.

Mossberg has announced that the new Hornady 7mm Precision Rifle Cartridge (PRC) will be available as an option for their Patriot Predator bolt-action rifle series. The 7mm PRC cartridge is designed to surpass current 7mm cartridges in performance. Mossberg have two models available, both with synthetic stocks and with 24-inch barrel lengths with a 1:8-inch twist rate, designed to maximize the performance of the 7mm PRC cartridge. The carbon steel barrel is free-floating and the dangerous end comes threaded (⅝”-24), if you like to add a suppressor or muzzle brake. Depending on the model, the MSP is between $519 to $616.

Despite the launching of many 7 PRC rifles and loadings at the end of October, Hornady quietly launched an updated lineup of their Sub-X bullets, as well as their subsonic 7.62×39 loading using said Sub-X bullets. The Sub-X bullets utilize the familiar red-nosed expansion tip, but these tips have been enlarged to enhance the bullet’s expansion at much lower velocities. For the moment, it appears that the 255-grain 7.62×39 projectiles only come as part of their factory-loaded subsonic cartridge series, while the rest of the Sub-X lineup are available as just the projectiles. Hornady previously listed the 190 grain .308 caliber bullets under the Sub-X line, though they’ve now also listed .357, .452, .458, and one more .308 caliber offering.

CZ-USA has a new series of semi-automatic shotguns called the CZ 712 G3, with a focus on clay shooting or hunting. The 712 G3 Utility model (pictured above) can also be used for home defense. All of the models are gas-operated and made to cycle 2 ¾- and 3-inch shotshells through the chrome-lined barrel. There are two pistons included, one for light and one for heavy loads, as well as five choke tubes. The MSRP starts from $579, and you can find more technical details and specifications below.

The new Anderson Manufacturing KIGER-9c compact pistol was released just a few days ago, and those who are looking for a holster for this pistol already have several options from DeSantis Gunhide. Every year Rifle Dynamics does a limited run of magazines to celebrate Halloween. This year the magazine is clearly influenced by the horror/sci-fi movie Aliens. The paint design is heavily based on the iconography of the Colonial Marine Corps. According to Rifle Dynamics, the magazine will give you the added edge when going on a bug hunt. The MagLads Halloween 2022 Drop is priced at $38.99, with only 350 available.

Magpul has expanded their lineup of stabilizing arm braces with the new BDA brace. It is fixed in a single position, unlike their other arm braces.

Holosun has a new P.ID series of weaponlights (the abbreviation stands for Positive IDentification). In total there are four new models Holosun P.ID line – the P.ID, P.ID HC, P.ID Plus, and P.ID Dual. All models are milled from 7075 aluminum and are anodized. The P.ID’s use white light, and will attach to any MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny accessory rail.

Pulsar has released the new Thermion Duo DXP50, their first multispectral hunting riflescope. The new riflescope combines the effectiveness of thermal imaging detection at any time of the day, with the comfort of full-color daytime observation. The Thermion Duo DXP50 is based on the same components as Pulsar’s flagship thermal imaging riflescope Thermion 2 XP50 Pro, which we recently reviewed here (LRF version).

The Colt CZ group is releasing what could be described as the best of two worlds. Tribute to Legends is what they chose to call their set of limited edition, hand-engraved Colt 1911 and CZ 75. This is a commemoration of last year’s merger between Colt and Česká Zbrojovka (CZ). There will only be a total of 50 sets made, and they will be auctioned off at the end of November, in Prague’s Kodl Gallery.
