Obsolete Arms just announced that they were doing a run of aftermarket grips for the Kimber K6s revolver, but their grip is heavily influenced by Beaumont-Adams revolvers from the 1850s. Obsolete Arms’ new K6s grips will be CNC cut from Peruvian Walnut, Padouk, and Purpleheart wood. William at Obsolete Arms stressed that the grips seen in the photos were not finished yet as he had taken them straight from the CNC and took a trip to the range to try them out.

With so many new shooters joining our community over the past few years, it’s important to have options to accommodate them all. The Trijicon VCOG 1–8×28 is used by the U.S. Marines as their Squad Common Optic. This optic has now been made commercially available as the SCO VCOG. The modern rifle is a major improvement upon older designs in many aspects. One of the most important improvements is the expansive modularity and aftermarket that come along with each firearm. Pulsar are releasing their next generation of Thermal Monoculars: Pulsar Axion 2 XQ35 and Axion 2 LRF XQ35. Pulsar promises an enhanced image quality, longer battery life and a lower price. According to Pulsar, the XQ35s can detect a standard 1.8 m tall object up to 1300 meters away in complete darkness, and the battery is said to be able to power the device for 11 hours of continuous use.

Maxim Defense have announced the launch of a new 7.62×51mm AR, the MD:11. Maxim Defense describe the MD:11 as an update of the original Stoner AR-10 design. It will be available in 6.5 Creedmoor and .308Win/7.62×51mm. This marks a move into a new area for Maxim Defense, their recent products have focused on small, compact PDW carbines in 5.56×45, .300BLK and 7.62×39mm.
