CrossBreed have announced that they have expanded their range of holsters to cater for Springfield Armory’s SA-35. The Hi-Power has come back in a big way in 2022 with Springfield Armory announcing the SA-35, EAA introducing the P35  and FN America announcing the return of a rebooted Hi-Power at SHOT 2022. CrossBreed has announced that their SnapSlide OWB, SuperTuck IWB and the DropSlide OWB holsters are now available for the SA-35.

The modern rifle is a major improvement upon older designs in many aspects. One of the most important improvements is the expansive modularity and aftermarket that come along with each firearm. As rifles gained the ability to be easily customized, folks began to buy all of the coolest accessories. The problem with this is real estate. There is only so much space on one gun. So, some companies began to combine certain accessories. The latest example of this comes from Strike Industries. Combining a vertical grip with a bipod, this is the Strike Bipod Grip.

One of the biggest issues when it comes to traveling with guns and gear is the fact you never have enough space. I cannot tell you how many times I have traveled into a different state for training courses with multiple bags for all my gear. I reviewed the Otte Gear Range Bag a while back which is great for the day-long range days. The problem with the Otte Gear bag is it doesn’t leave much room for coats or anything you may need for a multiple-day course. I searched for a while for different solutions. Everything from Hard cased Pelicans to just taking a couple different bags but nothing really worked out. In a Facebook thread on the PSAK Owners Group page, Chad Wylie, the CEO of PSA, posted Images of a new AKM compatible top cover rail system being worked on. In the thread, he stated The Palmetto State Armory AK Top Cover Rail would be available “before Q2 2022”.

Pistol red dots are not cheap. Though there are “budget” options, a couple hundred dollars is still a week of groceries. Whether you’re running less expensive gear or you splurged for the best, it’s good practice to protect your investment. Mounting options for silencers have grown in number over the past few years. With an endless number of thread pitches and directions, some have sought to improve upon the current system. I still live that quad rail life. I have a lot of Picatinny rail on my AR, and a few cables, as well. During the winter months or for those who like to open carry on a regular basis, retention becomes much more important. The easiest way to ensure strength and rigidity in a scope mount is to make it chonky, but then what’s the point in having a lightweight rifle? Finding the perfect balance between strength and weight is the goal, especially when using a magnified optic. Samson Manufacturing’s new Rapid Precision Mounts aim to solve this exact problem. There are so many cool optics available to us as shooters. We can have a whole box full of them, but it doesn’t do us any good if we don’t have a reliable way to mount them.
