When it comes to roller delayed blowback guns like the MP5 or G3, your options for triggers are rather limited. You can either buy another German trigger or have someone polish a factory trigger hoping for better results. Well, ShootingSight came out with their Heckfire drop-in trigger for MP5s and G3 clones. Over the last few years, there have been a few trends that emerged in the gun community. In a recent Q&A conducted by our beloved TFBTV hosts, Hop mentioned that he actually makes use of a pistol-mounted aiming laser for his home defense pistol. The reasoning behind this is that the laser would offer him both a faster and more accurate target acquisition in a home defense situation if he could not get to his glasses in time. Viridian Weapon Tech has a wide array of pistol-mounted laser aiming devices and they have now released their popular E Series Green Laser for the growing library of G Series pistols from Taurus.

Magne-Tech, a Utah company, has designed a quick firearm accessory attachment system that utilizes rare earth magnets. This system consists of two parts with built-in magnets – the base mount, which must be attached to the weapon, and the detachable part, which is either attached to or built into the accessory. The Magne-Tech system is designed to be strong enough to withstand recoil and impact forces yet at the same time allow to detach the accessory by simply pulling it off of the gun.

Nevada-based Mesa Tactical have introduced their latest shell carrier combined with an RMR mount. Machined from 6061-T6 aluminum, which is then anodized, the carrier can hold four or six shells and comes mounted with a Trijicon RMR. The mount is available for Remington, Mossberg, Beretta and Benelli tactical shotguns and has an MSRP ranging from $93 to $115.

Back in September, I wrote about the new Backcountry 2.0 rifle from Weatherby at their unveiling event. The easiest way to get a stable shot is to rest your firearm. The simplest and most convenient way of doing this is by attaching a bipod. Both convenient and effective, bipods serve shooters from the wooded landscapes of a hunt to the smooth dirt lanes of a PRS competition. Unfortunately, every accessory has a trade-off. These days, holster manufacturers are doing a pretty good job of providing lots of holster options for new handguns on the market.  Galco, being one of the largest holster manufacturers is no exception.  Taking a page from James Reeves’ preferred carry methods for subcompact handguns, for Kimber R7 Mako they have both belly band and fanny pack carry options with the UnderWraps 2.0/Elite belly bands and the FasTraX Pac.  For OWB carry, they have the leather (not sharkskin, surprisingly enough) Concealable and the hybrid Quikslide and Tacslide.  For IWB, they now have the KingTuk Cloud, Stow-N-Go, and Tuk-N-Go.
