The extremely popular Holosun SCS has just had a new bit of flexibility added to the platform with the addition of the new SCS-320 model. The new SCS-320 is a direct-mount Delta Point Pro footprint and should be a simple install to any optics-ready SIG P320 without the use of an adapter plate. The SCS-320 shares all of the same features and reticle options as the other versions of the SCS optic, this time just in a footprint that allows for a direct mount on P320 handguns and sporting a brand new fully enclosed design.

FN is excited to announce its second-ever suppressor, and its first-ever rimfire suppressor, the new Catch 22 Ti. This new Titanium rimfire suppressor weighs in at a scant 5 ounces and is both user-serviceable and features a High-Temp Cerakote finish in either black or FDE. Billed as being Versatile, Durable, Lightweight, and specifically for rimfire, the Catch 22 Ti seems like it might be a perfect pairing for the FN502 Tactical rimfire pistol.

ADIHEX is an important regional show that each year gathers outdoor and firearm companies in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Playing on its own turf, CARACAL usually displays its wide catalog and finds the opportunity to reveal new models, such as UAE-inspired Merkel hunting rifles and a special edition 2011 pistol.

Oregon-based Ozark Armament have introduced a new set of 45-degree offset back-up iron sights. Designed to mount to any Picatinny rail, they are made from aircraft-grade aluminum with a hard coat anodized finish and provide an M16A2-style sight picture with windage and elevation adjustability. MSRP on the sights is $39.99.

Edgar Brothers, the UK-based prime contractor for the UK’s new  Alternative Individual Weapon System – the L403A1, has provided some further details on the rifle and a breakdown of its components. The UK plans to procure 10,000 of the rifles over the next decade at an estimated cost of £90 million ($110 million).

Aimpoint has been chosen to deliver mini red dot sights to the Alternative Individual Weapon System, designated L403A1 to the UK’s Ministry Of Defence. Deliveries will be handled by Aimpoint’s exclusive UK distributor Edgar Brothers. The Alternative Individual Weapon System consists of three elements – the rifle itself made by Knight’s Armament Company and designated L403A1, the optic system L900A1, and a training system. As part of the optic system, Aimpoint will supply the ACRO® P-2 red dot sight.

In our continuing coverage of this year’s Finnish Brutality event, I’ve brought on another member of my squad, Les Winner, to talk about his and his buddy Matt’s experiences at the match and to talk about his company, Polaris Logistics. Polaris Logistics specializes in the import and export of personally owned arms so that you and your buddies can travel abroad and attend competitions or go hunt with your own guns that you’ve trained with and used at home. Les works with local authorities and gains the necessary permits and generally deals with all of the hassles normally involved with legally exporting firearms, and turns it into a simple affair where you ship your guns to him here in the States, and then he hands them to you when you get to the country where you’re competing. So in addition to learning about the ins and outs of the import and export of arms, we’ll be talking about some of our most and least favorite stages from Finnish Brutality 2023!

The big brother takedown version of the TacSol Owyhee is finally here. In a previous edition of our weekly series The Rimfire Report, fellow writer Rusty S took a look at the 22LR version of the TacSol Owyhee bolt-action rifle. The ultra-lightweight and accurate platform gives users a functional stock, that allows for extended hunting or pest control duty all in a compact platform that can be stowed easily on a side-by-side, 4-wheeler, or even an adventure bike. Now all of those same capabilities and more are being offered in the new Whyhee Takedown 22 Magnum rifle. I’ve had my hands on one for a couple of weeks now and we’ll be getting an even closer look at it in a following edition of The Rimfire Report. For now, let’s take a look at what the new Owyheee Takedown 22 Magnum has to offer!

The MP5-SD is one of the best suppressed 9mm PCC ever made. However, the problem it has is due to the cage that shrouds the suppressor. Well, Dakota Tactical has come out with the TheOne SD Cage. It is used in their MP5-SD builds and opens up more modularity for the gun.

Canik is launching a new Canik Creations variation of their popular TP9SF pistols in Cerakote flavors. Honestly, these are some really good-looking camos in my opinion. Canik has been delivering a lot of gun for the money for some time now but it’s nice to see them expanding into different opportunities. I’m not saying everyone needs to start including a paint job with these pistols but people do like options. It will be interesting to see how these slides wear with the Cerakote finished on Kydex holsters.

Some rifles need to be wet to run well, while others enjoy a good, carbon-soaked beating. No matter how well any particular firearm can fight through grime, they all need maintenece at some point. In this regard, AR-pattered rifles do a great job of making field stripping a breeze. Pop the pins and pivot, or separate both halves completely. Not all small parts are created equally, however, and those looking to upgrade their AR-10 pins now have a new option from Strike Industries. These are the new AR-10 Extended Pivot and Takedown pins.

Introduced in 1985, the New Ultralight Arms (NULA) Model 20 was an extremely lightweight bolt action rifle weighing less than five pounds in short action chamberings like the .308 Winchester. In 2022, Wilson Combat acquired the New Ultralight Arms a now, about a year later, they came up with the updated version of this legendary rifle. Let’s take a closer look at the Wilson Combat NULA Model 20 rifle.

Bond Arms introduced the Cyclops single-shot break action derringer at SHOT Show 2023. It was initially chambered in .45-70 Government only, however, when it was released, the company said that other big bore caliber options like .44 Magnum and .50 Action Express would be added in the future. Well, the second chambering for this mythical creature is now announced and it’s the .44 Magnum. Let’s take a quick look at the specs and features of the new Bond Arms Cyclops 44 Magnum derringer.

If you are feathering that fine line of you want a carry pistol, but you want ALL the ammunition. Additionally, if you are a Hellcat Pro owner (which firmly places you on that line of “carry size” and “capacity”), then you will be glad to hear that Springfield Armory is now offering extended 17-Round Hellcat Pro magazines in Desert FDE (Flat Dark Earth) as well as traditional black.

If you always wanted to own a Geissele rifle but could never afford one, then the new El Jefe rifle must be interesting to you. This rifle is made by Geissele Automatics but it’s sold under the ALG Defense brand (Geissele’s sister company). With an MSRP of $1,199, the El Jefe rifle is $900 cheaper than the most affordable Geissele-branded rifle. The differences between the El Jefe and Geissele rifles of comparable configuration are in materials, manufacturing techniques and finishes.

Federal Premium had announced their new line of Gold Medal CenterStrike ammunition heading into SHOT Show 2023, and now they are beginning to get some of that ammo out the door! Throughout this summer, they have been shipping .308 Win Match-Grade loads to dealers and now they have some 6.5 Creedmoor ready as well. All 3 of these offerings are currently available on Federal Premium’s website.

Taurus have announced the introduction of their full-size, polymer frame TS9. The pistol weighs in at 35.2oz unloaded, has a 4-inch barrel, is ambidextrous and comes with two 17-round magazines and  4 backstraps. MSRP for the new pistol is $499.99.

I recently acquired a Kel-Tech KS7 on sale and started to research upgrades for it. I came across Haga Defense KS7 upgrades in my search. Haga Defense has been making upgrades for a number of weapon platforms but I did not know they have upgrades for the KS7. So here they are.

Kalashnikov Concern first introduced the AK-19 rifle, the version of AK-12 chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO, during the ARMY 2020 exhibition. Three armies later, at ARMY 2023, the company revealed the shortened AK-19 Compact carbine. This version of the AK-19 was designed for submission to trials of an undisclosed foreign partner. Continuing with our Finnish Brutality 2023 coverage, we’ve brought back Mike Burns (Bloke on the Range) to talk about his specific setup, as well as how he prepared for Finnish Brutality from his current home nation of Switzerland. Switzerland is often touted as being one of the best places to be a gun collector due to their specific laws surrounding the types of firearms you can get. Bloke managed to get himself set up with a genuine L1A1 rifle, which is not only aggressively British but also something we Americans can never hope to acquire even with our relatively forgiving firearms laws. When Springfield released their two new long-barreled Hellions, they posted on their own blog a review of these rifles. In that review, the writer mentioned and showed pictures of a Hellion bayonet for the 20″ barreled Springfield Hellion. Well, it is available now.

Rock Island Auction Company’s premier auctions always contain firearms that belonged to prominent figures such as renowned political and military leaders, artists, celebrities, etc. The recently-ended August 2023 Rock Island Premier Firearms Auction was no exception and there was a Smith & Wesson Model 53 revolver consigned to this auction that once belonged to the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll Elvis Presley. The estimated price range that this revolver was expected to be sold at was $60,000 – $90,000, however, the King’s wheelgun was sold for over twice the estimated high price – $199,750.

Last week we took a look at the  “St Michael’s Banderole” pistol from Cabot Guns  OAK (One-Of-A-Kind) Collection. Today we have another masterpiece from this collection of deluxe 1911-style handguns – The Phoenix pistol. As its name implies, the design and engraving motifs of this pistol are dedicated to the immortal mythical bird.

Bushnell have released a new reflex sight called  RXM-300 which with a 28mm (1.1″) wide and 24mm (.945″) tall window is the largest open emitter red dot sight ever produced by the company. The RXM-300 sight was designed in cooperation with competition shooter KC Eusebio, however, it’s not a competition-only oriented product and is advertised as being suitable for virtually any application, from competition to self-defense. Let’s take a closer look.

Founded in 1976 by Italian competition shooter Giampiero Pardini,  Pardini Armi is a manufacturer of competition shooting air guns and firearms. One of the most popular products of Pardini Armi is the SP rimfire target pistol. Based on this successful design, the company has developed a new semi-automatic rimfire carbine called TR20. Particularly, the Pardini TR20 shares the blowback action and the adjustable trigger with the SP pistol. Reportedly, additive manufacturing technologies are extensively used in the production of this carbine.

Armored Republic, formerly known as AR500 Armor, announced the release of their new C3 multi-curve multi-hit Level IV armor plates. The Armored Republic C3 plates are ceramic plates with FragLock coating and Cordura cover. Let’s take a look at the specs and features of these new armor plates.

The Department of Energy (DOE) has procured the Primary Arms PLx 1-8×24 scope for its security forces. PA makes a few reticle options, and DOE opted for the ACSS Griffin Mil M8 version. It is an illuminated mil-grid FFP design.
