Glock Mag PCC Feeding Problems? Fix it with TACCOM Glock Lower Feedramp

The explosion of the pistol caliber carbine is fascinating. While certainly a fun type of weapon to shoot, the weapon type has not exactly been known for reliable operation. Sure, purpose-built PCC platforms have been excellent for reliability, the PCC genre suffers from the adaptation to the AR-15 and its fusion with other platform’s components such as Glock.

TBRCi Releases Micro Magwell for Glocks Gen 1-3

I’m not sure if Glock enjoys the fact that so many of its customers select the previous generation of its products or it loathes it. Most companies that release new products tend to quickly move past the previous generation, but good ol’ “perfect” Glock seems to believe that the new Gen 4 may not be “perfect” by keeping the Generation 3 guns in full-rate production.

Lone Wolf Introduces New AlphaWolf Extractor Milled From Stainless Steel

Lone Wolf knows that every one of us Glock owners has looked at their Glock and decided that it just didn’t have enough bling and that they were slightly concerned about the well-being of their extractor as the slide slammed home on a loaded chamber for the 537th time. So what did they do about it?  They rolled out the stainless steel AlphaWolf 9mm extractor for all 9mm and .380 Glocks (except for the single stack G42 and G43.)

Full Conceal's Folding Glock Akin To Magpul's FMG9

Full Conceal had a prototype of their concept back at SHOT Show 2017. Pete posted about it here. Their original concept was a cut down Glock frame and the remaining grip/magazine would lock onto the frame making the pistol a rectangular brick. You would have to remove the grip/magazine and insert it into the gun to make it into a complete pistol.

Modern Personal Defense Weapon Calibers 013: The .22 TCM and .22 TCM 9R

It has been a little while since we visited the subject of modern personal defense weapon calibers, so to start it off again we’ll be taking a look at a new high velocity round that is only a few years old: Armscor’s .22 TCM. This round was reportedly developed by Fred Craig as a high velocity caliber for the 1911 platform, and picked up by Philippine company Armscor. Originally called the “.22 Mini Mag”, the .22 TCM (Tuason-Craig Magnum, after Craig and Armscor’s president) is designed to fit inside the magazine well of a 1911 and function from .38 Super 1911 magazines. Although a pistol round, the .22 TCM is based off the .223 Remington case, shortened by about three quarters of an inch. Thanks to the thick web of its parent case, the .22 TCM is capable of handling high pressures of 40,000 PSI. A version with a shortened projectile, the .22 TCM 9R, is compatible with shorter 9mm magazines for weapons like the Glock 17.

Look Ma, No Milling! JT Defense Pistol Optic Mount

Adding a mini reflex sight to your pistol can make it easier to shoot tight groups and can be particularly useful for hunting and certain gun games. But it usually means that you have to either buy a gun with a built in mount or have a gunsmith mill the slide to fit. In either case, you end up with a pistol that only fits certain mount patterns. The JT Defense mount seeks to correct that issue by replacing the striker plate on Glock or XD pistols and locking to the rear sight dovetail. There is no need to machine the pistol the mount can be installed and, of course, it can be removed just as easily.

ARMY Says MHS Is OVER, Glock Exploring Other Options

According to a recent article at Military.com, US Army spokespersons said in emails with the magazine that the Army would not be re-trying the Modular Handgun System competition between finalists SIG Sauer and Glock. This statement comes on the heels of Glock Vice President Josh Dorsey’s complaint that the MHS program had been left unfinished, saying that the endurance testing went “uncompleted”. However, a report from the Government Accountability Office (GAO) contradicts this assessment, and notes that the Army never promised in the Request for Proposal (RFP) to award more than one contract prior to Product Validation Testing (PVT).

The ACEM Pistol Loaders in Beta Testing

Table-based magazine loaders have existed a long time. While it takes some time to get the rounds into the loading plate with a simple push, all rounds are quickly and easily inserted into the magazine. PLATE’s ACEM loaders have been a respected offering in this sphere, but until now, these loaders were limited to double-stack magazines.

Was MHS a FAILURE? SIG vs. Glock, an In-Depth Analysis

After 13 years of searching for the US Army’s next pistol, a successor to the Beretta M9 has been selected.
