Polymer80 Launches Exclusive FDE 80% Frame with Brownells
Brownells, a purveyor of fantastic firearms products, is on a bit of a tear recently. Using their buying power, Brownells has been expanding products under their own brand and focusing on releasing Brownells’ exclusive items. Latest in that trend is their partnership with Polymer80, which has yielded the Brownells exclusive Coyote color.
Review: Glock 43 (G43) 9mm – Mousegun "Perfection"?
Is it too much to ask from a mouse gun to be at least 9mm, reliable, and shootable? Based on various other offerings on the market, it could be argued that the combination of the three was a tall order. Various weapons in .380 were good, but 9mm was a beast that the form factor had a hard time dealing with.
Lone Wolf Distributors Teasing Billet Glock Extractors
Despite being bemoaned by many a “learned” firearms enthusiast MiM, or metal injection molding, is a common process used to create small parts. It is expensive to set up. But when used in high-volume applications for small complex components, it can create cost-effective ready-to-go parts in just one go where machining billet is too costly. When done well. MiM has 99% of the strength as billet construction.
BREAKING: GAO REJECTS Glock's Modular Handgun System Protest – IT'S OVER
It is finally official: The SIG P320 will definitely be the US Army’s next service handgun. Soon after the January announcement of SIG Sauer’s win of the half-billion-dollar MHS contract, gunmaker Glock filed a protest on the decision with the Government Accountability Office (GAO). The GAO had until Monday, June 5, to make a decision on whether to hold up the contract or allow the program to continue with procurement of the SIG handgun. Today, the news is out: The GAO has rejected Glock’s protest, and the MHS program can now move forward with procurement of the SIG M17, according to a story from Army Times.
PSA: Zev Tech Out Of Spec Trigger NOT DROP SAFE
Brandon H. shared this harrowing experience with us. Disclosure: Brandon and TFB are in no way trying to discredit Zev Tech and their products. This is just one documented instance but it is an important one. For those running a similar trigger, please check them and make sure they are safe.
CARVER Competition Holosun Mount For Glocks
I recently got a Holosun red dot and was researching various mounts available for them on the market when I stumbled upon this interesting Glock mount from CARVER Competition made specifically for Holosun optics. The mount is CNC machined out of aluminum and fits the Glock 17, 22, 24, 31, 34, 35 and 37. It also works with Gen 4 Glocks. The CARVER Competition mount looks very similar to the 6 Second Mount from ALG Defense, they even use the same mounting points. The CARVER Competition mount looks way beefier though, and maybe heavier. The ALG Defense 6 Second Mount was designed for use with the Aimpoint T1 and RMR or any other optic that uses the same base style.
More Glock M News Bits: 19M Poses For Snapshots
Over at Glock Talk, more images of the mysterious Glock M series of pistol have surfaced, this time in the model 19 flavor. The included pictures give us some detailed shots of the flared and relief-cut magazine well. The subtle differences in the current offerings follow Glock’s painfully slow strategy of incremental change.
Review: Hazmat Holster Works NV 3 Holster
When you are shopping for a holster, there are so many options that it can make you head spin. I know that I have a giant box of unused holsters just like many other gun owners searching for the right one. The Hazmat Holster Works NV 3 isn’t one of those that lives in the box. Instead, it gets regular use with my concealed carry Glock 19.

Opinion: One Handed Weapon Disassembly Beneficial?
Coming across this video of female Indian Army soldiers making excellent time with disassembling their INSAS rifles better with one hand than I could with two was very exciting to watch. I’m not a stranger to seeing or attempting a one-handed weapon disassembly, probably the most impressive demonstration I’ve seen was with a Marine Machine Gun Instructor who took apart a Browning M2 single-handedly to show that it could be done with some practice. Looking up on Youtube you’ll find a number of videos of the practice, many of which I’ll share below.
Glock Customer Service Issues – 90% are "User Error" while 0.05% are "Mechanical"
I recently had the opportunity to re-certify my Glock Armorer Certification as it had expired. I highly recommend that anyone who can attend a Glock Armorer course to do so. Those people include:

Glock Goes Full Retar… Dark Earth with Latest Lipsey's Special Edition
It can be argued, strongly, that much of the success of Glock owes to the Henry Ford-like the mentality of mass production with a little bit of Lotus thrown in. Make a whole lot of one thing and throw in simplicity for good measure. In fact, this recipe started the end of the “Wondernine” years and ushered in today’s Plastic Fantastics.
POTD: C Is For Compensated
@Guncollector47 claims to have a complete collection of all the “C” model of Glocks.
