Slow Mo Guys & Kentucky Ballistics – Video Collaboration

I enjoy the content that the Slow Mo Guys create. I am a fan of slow-motion footage and while my amateur Chronos camera is not remotely in the same league as their Phantom cameras, I enjoy filming firearms with it. Lucid Optics Introduces New E7 Enclosed Red Dot

Lucid Optics has produced a fair variety of different optics over the years. Their current product catalog spans three models of rifle scopes, several red dots, a 4x prismatic optic, a spotting scope, a binocular option, and more. One recent addition is their E7 red dot model, initially announced a few months ago around SHOT Show’s timeframe. The E7 is a fully enclosed micro red dot using Aimpoint ACRO-style mounting. Its boxy shape also evokes the ACRO, along with similar competitors like the Holosun AEMS. The E7’s size makes it look like it could occupy a similar niche as the above-mentioned optics, serving as either a larger pistol-mounted unit or a relatively smaller option on a carbine. Get some additional details on the E7 in Lucid’s press release, copied below.

IDEX 2023: CAR 816 "Sultan" Rifle From Caracal UAE

In the last 30 years, we witnessed how easy it is for a country to lose its firearms manufacturing capability: the UK, France, Portugal, and Spain are prime examples. And building such a capability from scratch is extremely difficult, and UAE and “Caracal” seems to be one of the few successful examples. Founded in 2007, “Caracal” develops and manufactures handguns, sniper rifles, and perhaps their most well-known product – CAR 816, a select-fire short-stroke gas piston AR15 variant chambered in 5.56×45.

Increase Capabilities: The Strike Shotgun Barrel Clamp for 12-Gauge

A 12-gauge shotgun is a formidable weapon. You’ll find the internet to be littered with comments about shotguns being the best home defense weapon. While these comments are usually filled with inaccuracies and spelling mistakes, what they tend to lack is criticism. Shotguns are very effective but also tend to lack capabilities that would put them on par with other modern options. Strike Industries is aiming (yes, you still have to aim with a shotgun) to change that. SureFire Launches XSC-B Subcompact Handgun WeaponLight

When talking about firearm safety, most people focus on preventing negligent discharges. When I ask for a safety rule, I usually hear “Treat every gun as if it’s loaded.” This is a great rule, but what if you do want to send a round? Then knowing your target becomes the most important rule. Positive identification (PID) is extremely important, especially for a trained civilian. The best way to know your target is to see it, and in dark environments, that can be difficult. Thankfully, the weapon light market has you covered with tons of high-quality lights for your carry guns. The newest from SureFire is the XSC-B Subcompact Handgun WeaponLight.
