The Browning Hi-Power is a legendary design, which has served around the globe for almost 90 years. While it has been overshadowed by more modern designs, some gun nerds have wondered what a modernized Hi-Power would be like. Rejoice, fellow gun nerds, for EAA has listened and is now selling the  Girsan MC P35 Ops. It’s a true Hi-Power clone but spruced up for shooters who want an improved experience.

Magazines are consumable items and when it comes time to replace them, finding affordable replacements can sometimes be difficult. Extar USA, in its mission to keep shooting more affordable, has released its new EM9-18 Glock-pattern 9mm magazines that retail for right around $10, and also feature a few enhancements of their own to make them more reliable and less prone to premature damage and wear. The Polish VIS 100 M1 pistol from Fabrika Broni is an upgraded variant of the pistol that is currently issued to the Polish Armed Forces, the VIS 100 (no “M1”) while the primary advantage of the civilian M1 version provides an optics-ready capability. The history of the VIS 100 M1 can be traced back to the early 1990s when Poland began looking inward for the production of a pistol for the armed forces. This search saw a couple different designs, the MAG 95 and the WIST-94, the latter of which was adopted in 1999. The MAG pistol was updated in 1998, and again in 2008. In 2018, the evolution of the MAG design, the VIS 100, started being issued to the Polish Armed Forces, replacing the WIST-94. The VIS 100 M1 is imported and sold by Arms of America, and is also available through Atlantic Firearms, who graciously provided the review sample you see here.

I can hear the typing coming from a mile away even before any of you have read this first paragraph. “It’s from Turkey! Pass!” Yes, the BRG9 Elite is a not-so-subtle nod to the Springfield XD series of pistols but whereas the XD (aka the HS 2000) hails from the great country of Croatia, the BRG9 Elite instead hails from Istanbul, Turkey, and is imported to the United States via the Buffalo Cartridge Company of Findlay, Ohio. Buffalo Cartridge has a well-established business manufacturing an extensive line of both pistol and rifle ammunition including some of the more obscure cartridges not normally found at your local big box store like .44 Special, .38-40 Winchester, and .458 SOCOM. The BRG9 Elite is a brand-new import for Buffalo Cartridge for 2022 and they were kind enough to send me a copy for testing and evaluation purposes. So today we’ll take a closer look at the BRG9 Elite, its features, and its price point to see if this might be a pistol worth picking up,

Every once in a while, a gun company will come out of left field with a really interesting concept. A few years ago, SIG came out with a revival of the original SIG P210 and P210 Target. The latest variation of the P210 lineup is the new P210 Carry from SIG. This line of pistols has a reputation for having one of the best triggers in handguns as well as being incredibly accurate. After having some time with the P210, I can finally talk with confidence about my thoughts on it. Let’s take a closer look at the SIG Sauer P210 Carry.

In a product twist that I would have never seen coming, Vudoo Gun Works has just announced the Möbius 1911 chambered in either .45 ACP or 9mm. This is the first departure into handguns for the precision rimfire rifle company, but if they stay true to form, the quality of these pistols will be superb. Coming full circle, Vudoo is making a target .22LR slide and barrel conversion kit that will work on either of the Möbius pistols. Of course, I’m praying for the inclusion of a threaded barrel.

EAA released a new model in their Girsan MC P35 Ops line, the Ops Optic. It adds red dot compatibility to the other modernization features of the Ops model. This brings many characteristics of more modern pistols to the classic design of the Hi-Power family.

In this episode of TFBTV, James Reeves interviews Karl Brugger, the president of B&T, about the new B&T USW-P. The USW-P at first seems like little more than a modular, striker-fired, high-end CZ-75 clone, but as Karl reveals, this gun is much, much more than that. The USW-P has a number of features discussed in the video, but also manages to integrate into the USW-SF chassis system made by B&T to convert the gun into a 9mm carbine.
