Wilson Combat AR9X – AR Pistols and Carbines Fed From EDC X9 Magazines

The concept of having the primary weapon and sidearm chambered in the same caliber was probably pioneered or at least popularized in the American Old West where carbines like Winchester Model 1873 were often carried with handguns like the Colt SAA chambered in the same caliber. To me, this concept is still viable and one of the primary reasons I would ever opt for a PCC over a rifle is the compatibility with the ammunition and magazines used in my handgun. For those of you who are Wilson Combat brand aficionados, you can now have a perfect companion for your EDC X9 pistol because the company has just introduced the AR9X, a new sub-series of their AR9 9mm firearms that is compatible with EDC X9 magazines.

Wheelgun Wednesday: S&W 929, 9mm Revolver

In this edition of TFB’s Wheelgun Wednesday, we’ll take a look at another of Smith & Wesson’s 9mm revolver inspired by Jerry Miculek, the S&W 929.  Mr. Miculek and Smith & Wesson have covered their bases when it comes to the 9mm versus .45 ACP debate, and recently threw in a 10mm revolver (again) for good measure.  The S&W 929 presents some of the same pros and cons as other revolvers chambered for rimless cartridges, but provides an extra two rounds compared to six-shooters.

TFB Review: Springfield Armory Hellcat 9mm – World's Highest Capacity Micro Compact

When it comes to firearms very few have the potential or clout to disrupt an entire industry, but that is seemingly what the Springfield Armory Hellcat has accomplished. They have gone smaller in size than what was thought possible and conversely increased the capacity of your magazine at the same time. Why sacrifice capacity in an easy-to-carry sidearm when you can have both? The Springfield Armory Hellcat has been lauded by nearly everyone who has touched it in its 4 infant months of existence. From the day it was announced, TFB and TFBTV have had copies of the Hellcat to play with, carry, and form our own personal impressions. So, today I am going to share mine in this TFB Review of the Springfield Armory Hellcat. Let’s dive in!

[SHOT 2020] MagPump AK-47 and Pistol Mag Loaders

Loading mags are a pain, there’s no doubt about that. Not with the MagPump, you simply load your magazine into it, drop ammo into the top, then pump away.

TFB Review: Smith & Wesson M&P9 Shield EZ Pistol

Just a bit over a month ago I had the opportunity to visit Smith & Wesson headquarters for their release of the M&P9 Sheild EZ  9mm pistol. This is Smith & Wesson’s follow up to the highly successful 380 EZ which is marketed towards those with less hand strength. For the M&P9 Shield EZ review, I’ve had the opportunity to shoot the pistol now for much longer and I’ve put just a hair over 1,000 rounds through the gun. Now that I’ve had a bunch more experience with the handgun, I’ll share my thoughts on the new pistol and hopefully give you a better idea if the pistol is right for your carry needs.
