The Indian branch of Webley & Scott have just announced a new pistol for the Indian firearm market, the WP20 Fox Pistol, which is chambered in .32 ACP. In 2020, Webley began setting up shop and producing their iconic MKIV revolver as part of the Made In India initiative. The new Webley Fox Pistol, also known as the WP20 is actually a very close CZ83 clone that features a different slide profile. Webley India’s product announcement can be read below.

If you own a Steyr AUG and want your 55 gr 5.56 mm rounds to fly out with speeds upwards of one thousand meters per second (3280 fps), then turn to Steyr Arms USA as they now have the 24″ HBAR barrel available again. The price for the 24″ HBAR with Bipod is $725. Preferably pair it with the 42-round waffle magazine you most likely already own. Just beware that the barrel is not free-floating, so don’t put a lot of pressure on the bipod.

FN America has a new .22 LR pistol, the 502 MRD. It takes the existing 502 and adds an optics-ready slide. Much like the original, it features a 10-round capacity and a single-action-only hammer.

The advances in technology for accessories mean nothing without a solid platform on which to mount them. Sightron has a new low-power variable optic in their S-Tac lineup. The new 1-6×24 IR AR1 is a second focal plane scope with a 30mm main tube. It also features an illuminated reticle.

Palmetto State Armory released its Sabre line of premium AR-15 rifles a short while back. This past week they added their new Sabre AR-10 available in both forged and billet models with barrel lengths ranging from 13.7in (348mm) to 20in (508mm), featuring Springco upgrades like the gas rings, extractor spring, and ejector spring as well as a Radian Raptor charging handle and Talon selector. The Sabre AR-10 comes with a lot of the aftermarket upgrades people install in their rifles, right from the factory.

There are times when I need to leave my vehicle in some less-than-ideal locations. Polymers have done a lot for the advancement of firearms technology. One area of this industry that was heavily impacted was the manufacture of magazines. Almost every firearm I own came with a polymer magazine. Additionally, almost every aftermarket magazine I purchase is made from the fantastic plastic.
