Tungsten shot has been extremely popular in recent years for all sorts of hunting applications including Turkey hunting. In an effort to further expand their product lineup and coverage options for their customers, Fiocchi has just announced the introduction of their new Golden Turkey TSS loads for 12-gauge, 20-gauge, and 410 bore shotguns. These new shells should penetrate deep, produce dense patterns, and remain reliable in any conditions you find yourself in while turkey hunting.

Those that live in California know just how difficult it is to get a lot of the same firearms that we have in most of the rest of the country. However, that hasn’t stopped firearms manufacturers from trying to help out those who live in states like California by providing them with firearms that are still useful but meet the more stringent feature requirements of the state. The new Citadel Boss  25 California compliant shotgun is a new option for California’s 3 gunners or for those with home defense in mind.

With so many new shooters joining our community over the past few years, it’s important to have options to accommodate them all. Many of the new shooters are women and young people, both of which are oftentimes smaller in stature. This was likely not something considered when side-by-side shotguns were initially designed. Now, CZ USA is releasing two new models of their Bobwhite G2 line of shotguns. The Intermediate aims to provide a more comfortable gun for smaller shooters, while the Southpaw benefits the lefties.

The Benelli Magnifico Set of Five was first revealed at the recent 2022 Safari Club International Convention in Las Vegas, NV. As you can imagine, these shotguns are made from the finest materials, engraved and made by hand. Think the opposite of a lot of the mass-produced firearms that you see in the daily flow. Today at SHOT 2022’s Industry Day at the Range, Umarex unveiled their brand new Primal 20. Airguns have been carving themselves a niche in the hunting market and Umarex is one of the big names in that area. Their newest offering is a 20-gauge slug firing airgun.

Browning has published the list of products that are new for 2022. The list includes new versionss of X-Bolt bolt action rifle, BAR Mk3 centerfire and SA-22 rimfire semi-auto rifles, new Cynergy, Maxus II, Silver and A5 shotgun options as well as a couple of new models of the Buck Mark rimfire pistol. In this first part of a two-part review of the cheapest semi-auto shotgun money can buy, James Reeves reviews the $176 Citadel 12 gauge made in Turkey. This gun is also known as the Citadel ATAC, Citadel Warthog, Citadel Boss Hog or Bosshog. The CItadel ATAC is made in Turkey like so many budget shotguns these days, however, that doesn’t necessarily mean that the Citadel is a bad gun. Where I live, it normally wouldn’t take long at all for an ambulance and law enforcement to come help me and my family in the event of a violent encounter like a home invasion. However, “normally” is the operative word – and we all know that the last couple of years have been anything but normal.

For the environmentally-conscious hunters out there, perhaps for our Japanese friends who have seen recent sanctions on lead-based ammunition, HEVI Shot has just announced the addition of a new non-toxic dove hunting load for avian hunters. The new Mossberg 590s shotgun features a redesigned elevator and bolt slide as well as an energy-absorbing bumper for maximum flexibility with any 12-gauge shotgun shell right out of the box.

In this episode of TFBTV, Hop previews the newest model of the venerable Mossberg 590 shotgun: the 590S. The Mossberg 590S is everything you know and love about the 590, but with some internal tweaks that allow it to reliably cycle mini shells without the use of an adapter. The new 590S, and 590S Shockwave will feed 2 3/4″, 3″, and 1 3/4″ short shells interchangeably. Using short shells gives you a 50 percent increase in capacity and a significant reduction in recoil. In a full-size shotgun like the 590, they’re a bit of a gimmick, but in the stubby Shockwave, they actually start to make sense.

An AR-pattern firearm that shoots shotshells is sort of a holy grail for some. Many try making it but there is always some drawback or compromise. ATI had their Omni chambered in .410ga.
