Just a few days after the big announcement of the new LaChassis TKD for the Ruger 10/22 Takedown platform, Grey Birch is now offering the LaChassis for the Tikka T1X. In this episode of TFBTV, James Reeves interviews Ricardo, Project Manager and Engineer for Beretta, about the new BRX-1. The BRX-1 is a new straight-pull rifle designed to incredibly high standards in Italy by Beretta. The BRX-1 has been in production in Europe since late 2021, but because demand has far outstripped the production capability of the BRX-1, these guns have not previously been designated for the US. However, Beretta plans to proceed with importing the BRX-1 although it may not happen until 2023.

On 19 April, the US Army  announced that SIG Sauer had won the Next Generation Squad Weapons (NGSW) competition with its 6.8mm hybrid ammunition, MCX Spear and LMG-6.8 selected to equip the US Army’s close combat forces. The Department of Defense held a Media Round Table  event at the Pentagon discussing the NGSW program and how the newly selected weapon systems will be produced, procured, integrated and fielded.
