Tiny, Kinda Tactical Bolt Action: The CZ 600 Trail

In this episode of TFBTV, James Reeves reviews the CZ 600 Trail, a tactical bolt action that accepts AR-15 magazines. Revealed at IWA 2022, the CZ 600 Trail is available in .223 and 7.62×39 (the 7.62x39mm version accepts Bren 2 magazines). It has a very light and portable chassis with a PDW-type stock, comes threaded from the factory for a suppressor, accepts AR-15 pistol grips, features an M-LOK free-float handguard around a cold hammer forged barrel, and comes with a 2 MOA accuracy guarantee. While this might not be the most practical or economical setup for most people, James enjoyed the CZ 600 Trail, and he explains why in the video.

Mauser Introduces M18 Bolt-Action Rifle in Camo Patterns

AK Magazine Adapter For Ruger American Ranch Rifles

[SHOT 2023] ZEV & Magpul's Folding Defense Pistol (FDP) Coming in 2023

Folding guns, a cool concept that we are continually drawn to. SHOT Show saw Magpul and ZEV’s joint venture, the FDP (Folding Defense Pistol) and FDC (Folding Defense Carbine), move closer to reality. During a visit to their booth, the guys at ZEV ran me through the FDP’s features. The FDP will launch in 9x19mm and weighs in at 3 lbs unloaded. The folding pistol is based on a chassis similar to ZEV’s OZ9 (though not the same). [SHOT 2023] Fostech FLITE Elite Receivers and FLITE Phantom .22LR Rifle

At SHOT Show 2023, Fostech introduced a new generation of magnesium/aluminum alloy AR-15 receivers called FLITE Elite that are now made of forgings. These receivers are advertised to be 30% stronger and 30% lighter than their counterparts made of 6061 aluminum. In ounces, that’s a 2 oz weight reduction in the case of the FLITE Elite upper receiver (4.92 oz vs 6.92 oz). Also new from Fostech is a .22LR rifle called FLITE Phantom.

[SHOT 2023] HM Defense HM50B – Differences from Bushmaster BA50 and Remington R2Mi

A little over a month ago, we reported about the release of the HM Defense HM50B bolt action .50BMG rifle, and many of our readers found it suspiciously similar to Bushmaster BA50 and Remington R2Mi. New for 2023, Palmetto State Armory is expanding its AK lineup to include some atypical calibers including .300 Blackout, and 6.5 Grendel. They are also introducing a more faithful Krinkov style AK which will be available in calibers other than just .300 Blackout. The 6.5 Grendel AK is an extension of the AK 556 lineup they introduced last year, which takes STANAG pattern mags and has a few AR style features not typically see on the AK platform.

[SHOT 2023] Grand Power .22LR Stribog, Stribog Carbines and More
