[EnforceTac 2023] The Heckler & Koch HK437 with A-TEC Suppressors

One of the highlights each year is Heckler & Koch‘s booth at EnforceTac. It’s easy to underestimate this two-day exhibition and its importance for defense and homeland security. About 8,000 people from about 70 countries come to the Exhibition Centre Nuremberg each year, which may look like a low figure but Enforce Tac is a trade fair for professionals from government agencies with security responsibilities and the armed forces only. Next year the exhibition will grow with one more exhibition hall, and one day extra, and we’re already looking forward to 2024. Heckler & Koch has its natural place here, and their booth is always crowded. In this article we will focus on the HK437 in 7″ and 9″ configurations. We wish we could take even better pictures than these, but you have to fight to even get a short glimpse of these things.

Good morning everyone and welcome back to TFB’s Silencer Saturday brought to you by Yankee Hill Machine, manufacturers of the best value for performance suppressors on the market. Last week we reviewed the attributes of what I think makes the SIG MCX the best suppressor platform currently available – especially when we are talking about rifles chambered in 300BLK. This week we step it up a notch with the brand new SIG MCX-SPEAR short barrel rifle chambered in 7.62×51 paired with the SIG SLH762-QD (full size) and SIG SLX762C-QD (compact) suppressors. As a normally practical, tool-focused shooter, why am I drawn to a 13″ 7.62 NATO rifle? Let me explain.

By Our Powers Combined: Maxim Defense Partners with FPC

Maxim Defense, a well-known producer of higher-quality firearms, ammo, and suppressors has just unveiled its latest industry partnership, this time, with the folks from the FPC (Firearms Policy Coalition). The FPC is a fairly large Second Amendment public advocacy group that often goes to court to fight back against the encroachment that the ATF against law-abiding gun owners. This particular partnership is right up the alley of Maxim Defense since a lot of their product lineup consists of PCCs and other firearms that might end up as Illegal SBRs almost overnight should the ATF’s most recent pistol brace ruling be passed into law.

ASA Helps To Defeat Suppressor Ban In New Mexico

Last week, the American Suppressor Association testified in the New Mexico Senate in support of the use of suppressors as hearing protection for shooters and hunters. The testimony lead to the removal of the petition that would have banned suppressors. Knox Williams, Executive Director of the ASA, educated lawmakers on the actual use of suppressors to protect hearing and that a suppressor ban would do nothing to prevent crime. MODTAC Releases NEW Third Generation U-RAC Suppressor Shield

If you shoot a suppressed gas gun, you’ve probably figured out that suppressors get a little toasty. I learned the hard way. To prevent burns and heat mirage, fabric wraps were the standard for a long time. Now, however, MODTAC has changed the landscape of suppressor covers. They offer rigid, free-float, carbon fiber suppressor shields for a number of systems, all of which have quick disconnect capabilities. This year, MODTAC has continued its growth and is releasing its brand new Gen 3.0 U-RAC.
