#Trijicon

Alan Normandy, of Battlecomp, posted this Glock on Facebook. If you look closely, the slide has the Battlecomp logo engraved into it as well as forward slide serrations. The slide was milled for a RMR and suppressor sights were installed. The most interesting item is the repurposing of a Battlecomp muzzle brake to fit onto the threaded Glock barrel. I am curious to find out if this would actually help with muzzle climb or if it is just for looks.

Recently, I was interviewed by my friend and gun author Robert Kay for his book on how to buy an AK. Bob asked me for a recommendation on an AK optic mount for one of his books chapters. Without hesitation, I said any of the RS Regulate’s AK-300 series of receiver side-rail optic mounts.

I love pretty much everything about Trijicon products except for the price (as a civvy).  My favorite optic (in a different era of my life) was their ACOG.  I’m glad to see that they are staying current with tech, and bringing out new products.

If you are anything like me, I’m sure that you have found yourself in your friend’s basement discussing the finer points of co-witnessing back up iron sights on platforms other than the AR-15. One of these platforms that came up was the Benelli M4, and many laughs ensued as we put all of the optics that we could find onto the factory rail.

PWS unveiled their new Glock EDS (Enhanced Duty Slide). You provide your own barrel and recoil spring but it is a simple drop in upgrade. The rep said they did not want to make any modifications to the frame or trigger of the Glock yet were able to bring the factory trigger pull down from 5.5 lbs to 4 lbs. There are forward slide serrations on the EDS. There will be two models. One with factory plastic Glock sights for $449 or with Trijicon night sights for $549. No optic option yet.

Almost since the moment of their founding in 1981, Trijicon has been paving the way for quality any-light aiming systems. Their riflescopes and sights tend to perform well and offer good longevity, and along with their sales on the civilian market they sell to the U.S. Army, U.S. Marine Corps, and a number of SOF. In 1996 they came out with their first 1×42 Trijicon Reflex sight, and it was immediately put into use by SF as part of their SOPMOD M4 Carbine Kit.

Trijicon is now selling sights for the HK VP9 from the company’s Bright & Tough and HD lines. This is similar to the announcement made by the company recently about new sights for the Walther PPX.

Trijicon announced they are now selling sights for the Walther PPX from the Bright & Tough and HD lines. Bright & Tough sights are the traditional three-dot with tritium inserts that many people are familiar with.

Silencerco posted up a video mixing Halloween and some of their silencers. It is rather creepy but you get to watch pumpkins and other various Halloween decorations get shot up in slow motion.

Trijicon is now offering their 3.5×35 and 4×32 ACOG scopes with a BDC (Bullet Drop Compensation) reticle designed for the .300 AAC Blackout cartridge. The reticle is marked out to 600 yards for supersonic .300 BLK loads and 200 yards for subsonic loads. The diamonds drop markers are 2 MOA in width.

Not according to Sage Dynamics.

This picture has been going around social media over the weekend. Some think it is airsoft. Who cares? It looks very interesting and i commend the person or persons involved with making this conversion. I like the blending of the modern with a classic.

This new Chinese sight, made for the QBZ95-1 Bullpup, recently appeared on various Chinese internet forums.The sight is developed by Zhongshan SheJian Police Equipment Technology, a private company.
