KE Arms Adds New Handgun Compensators to Product Line

Firearm parts producing KE Arms has recently added two 9x19mm handgun barrel compensators to their product line up. Machined from 7075 billet and available in either an “Enhanced” or “Carry” configuration, both variants have “long” or “short” thread options for customers. This allows a user to fit these compensators to a threaded barrel depending on the length of thread space available. Both of these devices have elongated ports at the 12 o’clock position, while they also have circular ports at the 3 and 9 o’clock positions. KE Arms claims that these compensators reduce muzzle flip by at least 40 percent during the process of firing. Securing them to the barrel after being threaded on are two set screws at the 3 o’clock and 9 o’clock positions.

Is Iran Copying Glock Handguns Outright?

Since 2007, Iran has attempted numerous indigenous polymer framed, striker fired handgun designs such as a Walter P99 copy known as the M9-02, in addition to a simple attempt at a Glock copy known as the “Raa’d”. However, recent photographs have come to our attention that shows an increased Iranian interest in the Glock platform of handguns. IPAS 2016 had numerous Glock handguns on display, specifically the 17 and 19 models.

TFB REVIEW: The New GLOCK G34 Gen5 MOS

Glock has begun to slowly expand their line-up of Gen5 models that are being transitioned in from the Gen4 series. Right now, they have the G17 and G19 as well as the just announced G26 Gen5 and the G34 Gen5 Modular Optic System (MOS) pistols. An argument could be made for 5 total with the G19X, but that is a unique crossover that shares attributes from both the Gen5 and Gen4 series.

TFB REVIEW: GLOCK MHS Submission Available As The 19X

Glock’s newest, and likely to be most talked about firearm for 2018, is the model 19X. The Glock 19X is meant to be a crossover that will hopefully allow consumers to do so with confidence. The Glock 19X is a step into a new direction and quite possibly a new iteration of future pistols. This aberration of a Gen5  combines a G17 frame with a G19 slide assembly. This unique combination allows for the capacity of their full size G17 magazines, more dexterity and positive handling, and accuracy in a smaller package.

TFB's TOP 5 – The Best Guns Of 2017

Let me start off by saying that this subjective list of TFB’s ‘Top 5’ best guns from 2017 is not rooted in scientific study nor is it the result of massive data crunching of user polls. The below guns were picked by general popularity, page views, innovative designs and overall accessibility. The Eleventh Day Of TFB Christmas: Handguns

What’s the old saying? ‘A handgun’s only use is to fight your way back to your rifle.’ Obviously an over simplification – today’s modern handguns are perfectly capable of handling the majority of common defensive situations. Still, having a proper long gun available is always a good idea.

TFB HOLIDAY QUESTION: What Would Santa Carry?

A joyful, happy man, Santa Claus – or Father Christmas or Saint Nicholas or Sinterklaas – delivers gifts to good boys and girls throughout the world. After working for 364 days straight, he loads up his sleigh with packages and parcels containing everything from basketballs to jewelry. In my calculations, based on intense population studies and deep scientific research, Santa’s sack could hold up to $50 trillion US dollars worth of presents. As the lone responsible person for millions of gifts as well as delivering happiness on Christmas morning, it is only natural that we consider that he needs to protect himself and his load from all sorts of danger.
