[SHOT 2018] Archon Firearms "Extremely Low Bore Axis" Pistol – the Type B
Archon Firearms, formerly known as Arsenal Firearms USA, showed off to the public their Type B pistol, also formerly known as the Stryk B pistol, at SHOT Show’s Industry Day at the Range. To avoid a potential trademark dispute which would have delayed the introduction of this pistol even longer, Archon Firearms decided to re-brand themselves and the pistol.
[SHOT 2018] Aero Precision's Comps, Suppressors and Build Kits
Aero Precision had some interesting products for 2018. The company is working on a new line of compensators for 9mm, 5.56, and 7.62 rifles. These have a number of unique features such as the ability to slide a gas block over them while installed. They also have a titanium suppressor which wil MSRP for under $1000.

[SHOT 2018] Sol Invictus Arms TAC-9 Pistol
At the range day of SHOT Show 2018, a company called Sol Invictus Arms has introduced a 9mm pistol called TAC-9. It is inspired by the TEC-9, which was a similar weapon designed in the mid-’80s by George Kellgren. The TAC-9 has the same overall layout and is a blowback operated firearm too. The main difference is the new lower receiver designed by Sol Invictus Arms.
[SHOT 2018] ATI's New AR-15 9mm Conversion Kit and MP-40 Folding Stock Kit
New from American Tactical for 2018 is a conversion adapter that allows you to use 9mm Glock mags with your AR-15 lower. It’s made out of 6061-T6 Aluminum and locks into place via the AR-15 mag catch. The Glock mags are released by hitting a button on the bottom of the adapter.
[SHOT 2018] Palmetto State Armory 9mm AK-47 and MP5 Update
Palmetto State Armory debuted their new AK-47 chambered in 9mm at the 2018 SHOT Show. They’re calling it the PSAK-9. The model they had on display was using MP5 mags but they are also going to release a model that uses Glock mags as well. They also have plans for a version with a folding rifle stock as well as a pistol version that will probably make use of one of the various pistol braces on the market.

Springfield Armory has been very busy in the last few months pumping out multiple new firearms for consumers. Everything from a small, carry pistol like the 911 .380 ACP up to the thunderous TRP Operator 10mm.
Sarslmaz, Canik Awarded Turkish Armed Forces, Law Enforcement Contracts
The Turkish Government has awarded the Turkish companies Sarsılmaz and Canik two contracts resulting from the “Original Indigenous Gun Project” trials. Sarsılmaz received a 110,000 handgun order of the company’s 9x19mm SAR-9, while Canik received a 45,000 handgun order of their 9x19mm TP9SF ELITE S model. The Sarsılmaz handguns will be divided up between the Turkish Coast Guard, Naval Forces, Land Forces, and National Police. The 45,000 Canik TP9SF Elite S handguns will be solely for the Turkish National Police Forces. In the Armed Forces, these handguns will be replacing aging CZ, Beretta copies that have been locally manufactured in Turkey. As for the National Police, these Caniks will be replacing the Yavuz 16 (a Beretta copy) and the Sarsılmaz Kılınç 2000, in addition to perhaps older Canik models as well.
