Fletcher Rifle Works announced an addition to their OpenTop 11/22 rifle series – the new OpenTop 11/22 Takedown Rifle. This latest model joins the company’s lineup, designed for enthusiasts seeking a blend of portability and performance. The OpenTop 11/22 Takedown Rifle integrates a Magpul X-22 Backpacker Stock with a 16.5″ Beyer Barrel, a blend that promises both hard-wearing functionality and portability. The rifle’s stock and barrel selection were tailored to maintain a light footprint without compromising durability.

Arizona-based High Ground Defense is on target to reshape the firearms market with their latest product – the prototype ‘Advantage’ 3-barrel minigun. Chambered in 7.62x51mm, the gun maintains certain compatible parts with the legacy M134 Minigun but slashes its weight by approximately half to an estimated 40-45 lbs. The firing rate is an impressive 3,000 rounds per minute.

Savage Arms has expanded its product range with the introduction of the AccuCan line of suppressors in three multi-caliber options. The new Savage Arms Accucan suppressors are designed for a balance of weight, field serviceability, and sound suppression, flash reduction, and reduced recoil. Savage has also introduced a handful of new rifles, including the 110 Magpul Scout and the 110 Ultralite Elite.

The Canik TTI Combat is a collaboration between Canik and Taran Tactical Innovations. According to Canik’s press release; “The Canik TTI Combat features “out-of-the-box custom features created by world champion shooter, master gunsmith, and Taran Tactical Innovations founder, Taran Butler.”

During the SHOT SHow 2024, Detroit Gun Works, a company well-regarded for their commitment to precision and craftsmanship introduced two new rifles they’ve launched: the Hitsville and Sherwood. These rifles are based on their smooth and efficient bolt-action receivers.

Three noteworthy products introduced by the Medford, Oregon-based Rogue Ops caught the attention of industry enthusiasts. The products in question are the lightweight A-10 rifle, which was recently selected by a law enforcement client for use as a marksman’s rifle for the department’s SWAT team, as well as their RO21 offerings in 6mm ARC and 300BLK calibers.

New for 2024, Daniel Defense is bringing their first-ever pistol caliber carbine to market. Hop dropped in on a rain-soaked Daniel Defense range day to shoot it and get the details. The aptly but boringly named DD PCC is built around the readily available 9mm CZ Scorpion magazine pattern and has fully ambidextrous controls mirrored on both sides of the receiver. Recoil is mitigated by a hydraulic buffer system from Kynshot. Most of the other parts are standard to the AR platform. The Daniel Defense PCC will be available initially with a 16″ barrel or as a factory SBR with an 8.5″ barrel, both paired with the Daniel Defense MFR M-LOK handguard.
