Maxim Defense was probably the company with the most new products released at SHOT Show 2022. They have updated their line of MD-15 rifles, introduced an entirely new suppressor product line, released a new AR10 pattern rifle called MD11 … pretty much everything in their booth was new. Let’s take a look at the list of new Maxim Defense products and see how the company describes them.

Byrna Technologies produces civilian less-lethal products that fire .68 caliber projectiles. The flagship of the lineup is the SD model, which is laid out like a handgun. Each magazine contains an 8 gram CO2 cartridge and five projectiles. Byrna claims a 60-foot effective range for the SD.

Umarex USA is a major producer of air guns. Their booth at SHOT Show 2022 was loaded with new models across multiple product lines.

Strategic Armory Corps owns many notable brands, including Armalite, McMillan Firearms, Surgeon Rifles, and AWC Silencers. SAC had a large booth at SHOT Show 2022 with all sorts of products on display.

Retro guns have been undergoing a renaissance lately, with an increasing number of manufacturers offering firearms that appeal to more classic tastes. Many SHOT Show 2022 vendors displayed wares of interest for the carry handle gang or vintage enthusiasts, or just people who already have plenty of modern guns and just want something different.

Zastava Arms USA brought to SHOT Show 2022 two new firearms chambered in .308 Winchester – the M07-AS bolt-action rifle and the M77 semi-auto rifle. While the former has already made its way to the stateside and can be found on the Zastava Arms USA’s website, it is not yet known if they will import the M77 too.

FB Radom had a variety of firearms displayed at their SHOT Show 2022 booth. One of the most anticipated guns of this Polish company in the US market is probably the MSBS GROT family of rifles. Unfortunately, the company could not tell any details concerning the importation of these rifles. What they do start importing to the USA is the VIS-100 M1 pistol which will soon be available via Arms Of America. This is the civilian version of the VIS-100 pistol (formerly known as PR-15) adopted by the Polish military.

Trailblazer Firearms are best known for their LifeCard folding .22lr pistol. Well now they are scaling up to a folding 9mm but not in the traditional sense. Last year they announced the Pack9 and now it is dubbed the PIVOT as of SHOT Show 2022.

Act In Black (AIB) were at SHOT Show and they had some night vision housings that are not entirely new but something we have not seen up close until now. Their DTAMS is a modular version of the DTNVS. They also brought out their competitor to the PVS-14 dubbed “THE14”. AIB also showed me their exclusive 50º FOV lenses and shared that they will have exclusive cerakoted DTNVS housings for the American market.

At this years’s SHOT Show Unity Tactical showed some of the new mounts coming our way. They recently came out with COG series and MRO FAST mounts well they are adding Aimpoint COMP FAST mounts to the repertoire. On top of that we are getting a universal Omni FAST FTC magnifier mount.

I remember seeing an early prototype of TNVC’s Artemis at the last SHOT Show. This has been the pet project for Augee Kim, one of the most staunch supporters for ball detent night vision systems. Unfortunately ball detent night vision goggles are either fragile or are an after thought and are executed poorly. Not so with their Artemis goggle.

Thanks to Will at TNVC for taking the time to show me AB Night Vision’s latest iteration of their RNVG goggle, the RPNVG. The Rugged Panoramic Night Vision Goggle is a dual tube bino housing that features panning in the bridge to increase FOV.

Anderson Manufacturing is a major producer of AR-15 parts and complete guns. In fact, they made 700,000 lower receivers last year alone. Several new models in their AM-15 line were on display at SHOT Show 2022. Most notably, Anderson is back in the AR pistol market. They have not produced pistols in the last few years, but their new family of AR pistols is bringing that era to an end. These 5.56 and .300 Blackout pistols are available now direct from the manufacturer. Anderson does not name their complete guns (other than a part number), so we will be referring to them by their features.

One of the most highly anticipated things in the world of night vision is the CoreVision thermal fusion binocular. The AVS-ITS is a modular binocular that leverages to bring thermal fusion to the civilian market.

Century Arms has been a force of nature when it comes to legitimizing the Turkish Canik pistols. They are continuing with competing in the competition market with their latest iteration in the Canik SFX pistols. The Canik Rival is a race gun from the ground up. To top it off, Century is also offering their own Mechanic red dot sights for pistols.

In this episode of TFBTV, James Reeves is at SHOT Show 2022 visiting with B&T to see their newest suppressor, a 9mm tri-lug silencer with a quick detach that takes only a button press to detach. And even though this is a high-performance B&T silencer, it’s going to run under $700 street price when it is introduced.

Now That EOTECH is no longer a part of L3/Harris, they are branching out into the night vision and thermal markets. EOTECH Night vision will consist of their BinoNV, BinoNV-C, MonoNV and CLIPNV. EOTECH will also come out with their CLIPIR thermal clip on.

At SHOT Show ATN had their latest on display. One of them was this thermal monocular they call the ODIN LT Series. It is a handheld device that can be helmet mounted.

At SHOT Show 2022 Crimson Trace had a whole catalog of new products for 2022. They are branching out more with weapon lights like their RIG AFG weapon light. And they are diversifying with a wide range of RAD red dot sights from handguns all the way up to heavy recoiling weapons. Let’s see what they got.

The concept of a suppressor wrap or suppressor cover isn’t a new one and technically the MODTAC Rigid suppressor cover isn’t new either. However, the cover is new for me and is also new to the Daniel Defense Delta 5 Pro bolt action rifle. So what makes the MODTAC Rigid suppressor cover so special? First off, most suppressor covers accomplish their job by being made out of extremely heat-resistant material similar to an oven mitt. However, these materials have their limits and still transfer heat directly through the medium into your hand after a certain threshold. The MODTAC Rigid suppressor cover takes a different approach and at the same time, reduces the weight that you’ll have to carry around for the benefits.
