If you can appreciate specific products built to fit specific needs, Strike Industries has something for you. There are plenty of one size fits most parts out there, but parts made specifically for your weapon system and/or caliber can make a world of difference. SI just released their AR PDW 9mm buffer, which, as you can imagine, is made specifically for use with their PDW Stock/Stabilizer or pistol length receiver extensions on 9mm direct blowback AR’s.

Pheasants better beware as Federal Ammunition have released new 16- and 28-gauge Federal Premium Prairie Storm ammo. The payload mix consists of 70 percent standard copper-plated lead and 30 percent FS Lead and according to the manufacturer, the patterning has been improved. The wad design is also improved and the ammo can be used with both ported and standard chokes.

SAR USA is the exclusive U.S. importer for all firearms and ammunition products produced by Sarsilmaz Silah Sanayi of Istanbul, Turkey. They now have a new addition to their SAR 9X line of striker-fire pistols called the “Platinum”. It has a Cerakote finish and slide serrations to reduce weight.

FX Airguns was founded in 1999 by a passionate airgun enthusiast in a small town called Mariestad, Sweden 1999. When he couldn’t find the airgun of his dreams, he created one. They have now introduced a new, improved version of their Crown model, called the FX Crown Mark II. An increased plenum size by 28% is the biggest improvement, but they have also modified the valving to make the rifle more suitable for airgun slugs. The new FX Crown Mark II also has a Picatinny scope rail with a 20 MOA angle, and you can also get it with a Norwegian GRS rifle stock.

Aim Sports, purveyor of several rifle accessories, has just added a new product to its extensive line of aluminum handguards. The new release offers a visual and practical improvement to the popular IWI Galil ACE through a lean profile with M-LOK mounting slots.

Bolt catch, shmolt catch. That’s what I thought before I knew anything about customizing AR-15’s (not that my knowledge is currently vast). However, as my shooting progressed, I began to understand the advantage that small alterations can give a shooter. Parts as small as a bolt catch can make a huge difference when it’s time to go to work on some cardboard attackers. They just released a BAMF Pro Series rifles available in three different lengths, depending on local laws and your preference. The BAMF Pro Series is available in a pistol (6.5″ barrel) version or mid-length (12.3″ barrel) and finally as a rifle in 16″. Lapua has a new selection of brass cartridge cases ready for 2021. They will add 6.5 PRC, .284 Winchester, .300 Winchester Magnum and .300 PRC cartridge cases to their 2021 offerings. The new Lapua 6.5 and .300 PRC cartridge cases are intended to provide competitive shooters, hunters and accuracy enthusiasts a premium selection for precision hand loads. The .284 Winchester cases are for shooters who compete to distances out to 1,000 yards. The new cartridges will be available in the spring of 2021.
