I recently acquired a Kel-Tech KS7 on sale and started to research upgrades for it. I came across Haga Defense KS7 upgrades in my search. Haga Defense has been making upgrades for a number of weapon platforms but I did not know they have upgrades for the KS7. So here they are.

Vang Comp is renowned for its custom shotguns and the Vang Comp System, which provides reduced recoil and tighter patterns. HEVI-Shot Ammunition announced back at SHOT Show 2023 that they had a new flavor of waterfowl loads coming – HEVI-Metal Xtreme – and they are now here! The all-new HEVI-Metal Xtreme waterfowl loads boast HEVI-Shot’s original 12 g/cc HEVI-XII tungsten pellets (30%) stacked over steel pellets (70%) in the same shell along with Federal’s FLITECONTROL FLEX wad.

Holland & Holland have introduced a new over-and-under shotgun dubbed Noble. This is apparently the first new product of this renowned British gunmaker since  they were acquired by Beretta in 2021. Holland & Holland describe the Noble as a gun that brings state-of-the-art processes to traditional London gunmaking, creating a shotgun with versatility, innovation and performance at its heart. Let’s take a look at the features of the new Holland & Holland Noble Over & Under shotgun.

Just for the record, no, I haven’t started writing for the mainstream media, and if someone asked me “How pro-gun are you?”, I’d show them a photo of a battleship. We’ve all had a good laugh whenever the media announces that someone was found with “an arsenal” that included two pistols, a rifle, a scope and (gasp) 1000 rounds of ammo. However, the question still remains, how many guns can one person own? I suggest there are several limits – let’s explore.

Today’s Photo Of The Day features a KelTec KSG shotgun, which I rarely see in the wild, yet they turn up in law enforcement photos from time to time. The photos come from the French Police Nationale’s Facebook page on June 30, 2023. During late June and into July, France mobilized 45,000 police officers to combat the violent riots in cities across the country after a 17-year-old immigrant was killed during a traffic stop. During this mobilization, more than 2000 rioters were arrested over five days, and over 200 officers were injured as of the time of this writing.

Remember the old ALOFS system? It was made in 1924 by Herman Alofs. It was a magazine tube autoloader that you can bolt onto a single-shot break action shotgun. Well a company in Turkey, Sulun Arms, is making modern versions called Auslof, and Canada is importing them. Sometimes Canada gets cool stuff like this.

In this article, I decided to do a little woodworking. I apologize for the lack of Armorer’s Bench content as of late. Mesa Tactical, that California expat company now located in Reno, Is known for law enforcement- and home defense-ready upgrades for long guns. My first experience with their gear was installing their Sureshell shell carrier/rail combo on my Remington 870 Tactical shotgun. I came across this video recently posted by Taofledermaus’ YouTube channel. C&Rsenal brought out a single-shot break action shotgun that has an ALOFS repeating magazine system attached to it. It converts the single-shot shotgun into a repeating shotgun with a tube magazine. Since the action happens so fast, Taofledermaus used his Chronos high-speed camera to film it in slow motion.

If you’re anything like me, then movies have been a huge influence on your love for firearms. Whether it’s classic movies like Heat, Die Hard, or True Lies, all of these movies made an impression on me when it comes to what I thought was a cool movie firearm. One of the newer movies on the list, Denzel Washington’s post-apocalypse action movie The Book of Eli, is another great example of a movie full of cool guns. While there is everything from full autos to a civil war era Gatling gun, I want to focus on the main character’s firearms and why he may have chosen them. Let’s take a closer look at the guns from The Book of Eli.
