Anime Meets Guns with "Mag Pants"
Comically named “Hardcore Tactics” is not looking for a way to get into your pants, but for a way for you to get into theirs. Their new product, dubbed “Mag Pants” (no doubt short for “Magazine Pants”) are a funny and quintessentially Japanese rip-off of the beloved original MagPul.. For those not familiar, the MagPul gave a very popular company its namesake.
Review: Podavach Speed Magazine Loader
We first reported on the Podavach magazine loader in January this year, mentioning that it had some unique features in an industry saturated with “unique”. First and foremost, more than a simple magazine loader, it incorporates a multi-caliber design, with layout options for 7.62x39mm AKM patterned magazines, 5.45x39mm AK74 patterned magazines, .300 BLK and 5.56x45mm patterned magazines. The ability to not only load multiple calibers but more importantly the two most common rifle magazines so prevalent within numerous military, law enforcement, and civilian sectors isn’t something to not take lightly, given its potential.
Mec-Gar Goes Full 2nd Amendment on a 1911 Magazine
I’ve been surprised by the recent spate of niche and sometimes highly polarizing specialty offerings. Don’t get me wrong, in any industry those “moto” items come in spades, but the firearms industry is typically more conservative in their approach. Of note, the Spike’s Crusader comes to mind. Other options include customized AR-15 lowers with special safety/selector markings. (On a personal note – I rather like the “Pew Pew” versions. They make the child in me giggle).
Fabryka Broni Releases MSBS Polymer Magazines
As an update to Miles V’s post from last September, Polish arms manufacturer Fabryka Broni has recently debuted their previously announced polymer magazines for the MSBS rifle. Originally reported on the MilMag Facebook page, the new mags appear to come in both black and semi transparent versions and have the ability to run in other AR-patterned rifles.
MORE AMMO! Aluminum PCC Mag Coupler from Lone Wolf Distributors
The craze for pistol caliber carbines has been burning bright and hot for the last year. With various companies launching dedicated to the platform including Quarter Circle 10, Angstadt Arms, and others, the 9mm community has received a significant dose of adrenalin. However, various established companies have also taken up the mantle including the leader in aftermarket Glock accessories, Lone Wolf Distributors.

Manticore's PGS Hybrid Magazine for EVO | SHOT 2017
Illinois based Manticore Arms has ruffled up some feathers again by introducing CZ Scorpion EVO magazines, both translucent but in clear and “Smoke Tint” polymer colors. Both are $29.95 and will be available by late February or March of this year through Prepper Gun Shop’s online base. Feed lips are metal, and are within the polymer bodies. Capacity is 32 rounds, with round markers along the side of the magazines at 12,22, and 32 respectively. They can be easily disassembled via a floor plate at the bottom of the magazine. The magazines also count for 922r compliance, so that frees up room to add more parts or retain foreign parts for the actual EVO firearm. The magazines have also been tested in both semi-automatic and fully automatic modes for functionality.
Metal Reinforced Feedlip Magazine For CZ Scorpion Evo 3
Prepper Gunner and Manticore Arms collaborated together and are giving what the masses have been demanding for over a year. Metal reinforced feedlip magazine similar to a Lancer magazine like you see for the 5.56 AR mag and MPX magazines.
Go / No-Go Gauges for USGI Magazines
Many of the weapon designers I have come to know well have very strong opinions on magazines. Outside of the suitability of one type (straight drop vs rocker) or staggered vs. single feed, they all universally agree that the weapon system is only as good as its magazines. It does not matter how well toleranced, machined, or timed a modern weapon is without good magazines that retain and present rounds to the action at the correct height, angle and pressure.
TFB's 7th Day Of Christmas: Magazines
Ok, there is is nothing earth-shattering buried within TFB’s seventh day of Christmas. But no matter how many magazines you have collected over the years, it’s always fun to be gifted more. Or, if you are looking for last minute or Secret Santa gifts for the special shooters in your life, mags are a safe bet.
Jam Mags With Buck's Ammo Ram
As I have stated in the past, I don’t mind loading magazines – when time permits. For those more urgent times, or for times where you have more than a few mags to load, a device to saves time (and your thumbs) is a welcome sight. Buck’s Ammo Ram is a new device that allows users to load loose or stripper clip ammo into AR mags quickly and easily.
