In a surprising move, Honor Defense is now offering a line of frangible hollow-point (HP) ammunition to the public. Their immediate flavors are your usual suspects for modern carry calibers. Where a lot of gun manufacturers are now offering ammo, but produced by an outside party, it appears they may actually be making this in-house. The laundry list of specifications and quality surrounding this new line of ammunition can be read below, as presented by Honor Defense:

Springfield Armory has  released an XDm in best millimeter at last. I have been calling and writing emails to them for years, nagging for a 10mm version of their XDm. And the XDm-10 is finally here. I am a big proponent of 10mm Auto because it is an extremely versatile cartridge. It can be loaded with bullets ranging from 60 gr to 230 gr and it can be loaded to energy levels that equal or exceed safe .357 magnum loads.

We put the 10mm Glock models 29 and 20 against each other head to head to compare velocity from the two barrels in this video and we also fired 10mm Underwood 220 grain hard cast and 10mm Lehigh 140 grain Extreme Penetrator into a long row of ballistic gel blocks to find out which is the king of penetration.

I screwed up. I reported inaccurate velocities for this load. This video corrects the error and we cover the gel performance. We shoot Speer 10mm 200gr Gold Dot ammunition from an EAA Witness with a 4.5″ barrel into Clearballistics ballistic gel to measure velocity, penetration, expansion/fragmentation, and retained weight.

We shoot multiple rounds of LAX 10mm 180gr FMJ ammunition from an EAA Witness with a 4.5″ barrel into a Shot Stop NIJ level IIIA backpack panel.

It was some time late in 2016 that High Tower Armory, a small company out of Minnesota, announced that they would be making a bullpup stock for Hi-Point Carbine rifles. After a long time of refining and polishing this project they have their end product to unveil to the public. The MBS-95 (Modular Bullpup System) Conversion Stock is now complete!

Springfield Armory just announced, roughly around midnight, a NEW 1911 TRP 10mm RMR! This pistol chambers the stout 10mm cartridge with the added benefit of a reflex optic such as the Trijicon RMR.

New at CZ-USA’s booth were two Scorpion pistols in configurations that consumers have been looking for.  The first was a super short pistol with collapsing brace called the Scorpion EVO 3 S1 “Micro”.  The Micro features a 4″ barrel, SB tactical telescoping brace, HB Industries’ short hand guard, a Faux Osprey suppressor (placeholder until one gets a real one) and a collapsed OAL of only 16″.  CZ aims to get this pistol into consumer’s hands by Q2/Q3 2018.

Springfield Armory has been very busy in the last few months pumping out multiple new firearms for consumers. Everything from a small, carry pistol like the 911 .380 ACP up to the thunderous TRP Operator 10mm.
