Full disclosure, I am a big 10mm fan.   Hence, the choice of a Glock 20 as my one pistol for a SHTF situation.  As I was cruising through SHOT 2020, I noticed a unique looking CZ97B in the corner of CZ’s booth. The grips grabbed my attention further, as they had “CZC 10mm” emblazoned upon them in red.  Sadly, this was not a CZ 10mm factory gun, but happily, this was an available pistol to order from CZ Custom, aka Ghost Products.  Trigger warning for those of you who hate high priced guns:  The cost of this pistol is in nosebleed territory: Roughly $2.5-3k, depending on how one configures it.

A classic aesthetic 1911 model at a moderate price-point, chambered in a non-classic caliber. The Springfield Armory Ronin 1911 is now available in 10mm. The model is configured as a full-size 5″ gun, with an 8+1 capacity.

CMMG had a number of new entries at their booth this year in their 300 Banshee series of AR pistols with telescoping braces. Of note is their 9x19mm conversion upper receiver that when paired with a Magpul PMAG and conversion spring/follower allows shooters to use their existing PMAG magazines instead of a proprietory magazine or a Glock magazine in a proprietory magazine well. Also released was a dedicated 10mm AR pistol in a glossy white finish.

I had a chance to stop by the B&T booth for Industry Day at the Range to see their newest addition to the sub-gun Market. Now in what some argue is the “best millimeter” the B&T APC10 made its way into the B&T booth where I was able to get some trigger time behind this new sub-gun. I spoke to some of the team from B&T to glean a little more information about how this new addition to their line of sub-guns came to fruition just in time for SHOT Show 2020.

Building on the success of their Radial Delayed Blowback system, CMMG has just dropped a 10mm Banshee into their pistol and short barrel rifle product lineup. The new “best millimeter” gun joins thirteen other Banshee caliber and magazine options, ranging from .22LR through .458 SOCOM. The patented Radial Delayed Blowback system works to help reduce the felt recoil and also make the Banshee a superb suppressor host. Additional details can be found below.

The Glock pistol hardly needs an introduction.  Its place in the pistol market has been firmly established over the last three decades between military, police and civilian usage.  It’s been said that 65 percent of law enforcement agencies in the United States issue Glocks.  I have carried three different Glocks through my career and I’ve been very satisfied with the accuracy, simplicity and ease of maintenance the Glock design provides.  The aftermarket for Glock pistols is one of, if not the strongest for any one firearm.  Even for the aftermarket guns that aren’t Glocks, they are still based on the simple Glock design.

Following on from the introduction of the XD-M OPS in 9x19mm a few years ago, Springfield Armory have announced the release of the XD-M Optical Sight Pistol (OSP) in 10mm. The new tactical pistol with a 5.3in threaded barrel and suppressor height sights (which the 9mm didn’t have on launch) also comes with two 15-round magazines.

The 610 is back! I’m a huge fan of The Centimeter and I also have a soft spot for Smith & Wesson revolvers. So I was excited when I found out that Smith & Wesson was bringing back the 610. The Model 610 is an N frame revolver chambered in 10mm Auto but it can also shoot .40 S&W. It’s been on again off again in production since 1990 and limited numbers were made so it’s always been a bit hard to get hold of.

Smith & Wesson has brought back their Model 610 10mm revolver to the delight of many wheelgun aficionados and fanboys of the “best millimeter” cartridge! It is available in either a 4″ or 6.5″ barrel for hunters, personal protection or general range fun. Soldier Systems reported that FK BRNO has developed a polymer framed, multi-caliber version of their Field Pistol, which they unveiled at the IWA 2019 show in Germany. The standard 7.5mmFK model has a steel frame, but TFB’s Rusty reported during SHOT 2019, the company wanted to reduce weight and cost by offering a polymer version. With that new development, comes the ability to switch between 7.5FK, 9mm and 10mm calibers. FK BRNO’s new version is called the PSD Pistol.

Springfield Armory has a new pistol for all of us and it delivers some more of that 10mm goodness! This morning they have unveiled the NEW RO Elite Operator 10mm. Aside from the TRP models Springfield Armory has introduced to the market, the RO Elite Operator is now on a short list of 10mm handguns available to consumers in a 1911 frame.

The Fallout Universe is one of my most favoritest things. It manages to be dark, sinister, gritty, and ultra-violent while at the same time maintaining a light and quirky sense of humor. If you have never played any of the games, you are really missing out. The Fallout series of games are set in an alternate future after a nuclear holocaust in the year 2077. But it’s a future as it might have looked from the 1950’s. Imagine what Tomorrowland would look like if violent meth addicts took over. And I love every radiated and crumbling inch of it.
