Strike Industries is based in California. The restrictions in that hell ho…state have given inspiration to the company for many products that would otherwise not be allowed. Their Megafin was a massive help when running a featureless AR. XS Sights out of Texas have announced some new tritium night sights for Springfield’s Hellcat OSP. XS are introducing the DXT2 Big Dot and R3D night sights for the optics-ready pistol. MSRP for the night sights will range from $110 to $132.

While many companies who produce aftermarket parts will often make them only for more expensive weapon systems, Strike Industries disagrees with this approach. Known for functional and affordable parts, Strike Industries falls right in line with the Taurus approach. Adding to the value of an already high-value firearm, Strike Industries has just released the EMP for the Taurus G3.

Bobro Engineering has released a new quick detachable front grip called Forward Grip Assembly. This grip features a patent-pending attachment method that utilizes opposing forces in a diagonal plane to secure the unit and can be attached to or removed from a standard 1913 rail in a matter of seconds. It is designed to be a multi-functional weapon stabilization accessory providing barricade stop and monopod functions as well as a variety of stabilization options thanks to the skeletonized design, especially when used in conjunction with a sling.

Midwest Industries have expanded their line of rifle parts and accessories by introducing the new Side Folding Extruded Stock. With a silhouette resembling the triangle AK side folders, this stock looks really good on AK pattern rifles, however, being 1913 rail compatible, it will work with any firearm that has a Picatinny rail section as a stock mounting interface.

When I say “friction rings” I may be referring to the recoil assembly as a whole purely for simplification. All that being said, let’s dive right into proper Auto-5 friction ring orientation!

Having the ability to move your SIG Sauer P320 FCU (Fire Control Unit) into grip modules is incredibly valuable. Not only is customizing your firearms fun, but it allows shooters to keep different frames for different purposes. Keep your FCU in your carry gun, then swap to your competition grip module for your match. Those two purposes are the subject of the two newest P320 grip modules released by SIG. Introducing the new X-Series DH3 TXG Grip Mod and the AXG Titanium Cerakote Grip Mod.

A lot of people who have an interest in firearms, myself included, have a fondness for military history. This will often lead to collectors wanting firearms that were used by the armed forces. This is problematic if you’re looking for a fully automatic M249 SAW, but it gets a bit easier with handguns. The M17 is the next pistol that falls into that category of military collectibles. To help collectors of such firearms, SIG Sauer has just released a limited run of X-Change kits. Drop-in your P320 FCU (Fire Control Unit) and you have yourself an M17 that’s nearly identical to the military version.

I recently took my 11.5″ AR pistol, which is equipped only with an A2 birdcage, to an indoor range. Needless to say, I wasn’t well-received. If you’ve ever shot in close proximity to someone with an aggressive muzzle brake, you’re aware that another person’s blast is pretty irritating. Gasses meant to keep the muzzle stable are often directed in inconsiderate directions. The Strike Industries OPPRESSOR line has sought to deal with this problem. The folks over at Boyds Gunstocks are in the business of refreshing the old and bringing in the new. Boyds laminate gunstocks are in my opinion some of the best aftermarket wood stocks that you can get for the money and they recently sent me over one of their AT-ONE rifle stocks. The Boyds AT-ONE series of stocks is meant to take your old bolt action rifle and breathe new life into it and I personally think the Boys AT-ONE adds a lot of functionality to an otherwise unimpressive and old rifle. For this review, I used an entry-level Remington 770 chambered in .270 Winchester – a popular hunting cartridge down here in the south. Today we’ll go over some of the features of the AT-ONE stock, my experiences with installing it, and how it adds to the value of an otherwise budget-minded hunting rifle and turns it into something more functional for only a couple hundred dollars.

Faxon Firearms has introduced a new series of pistol compensators called EXOS. These compensators feature one large top port for muzzle rise compensation and angled side slots that “allow gas to deflect upwards as opposed to only deflecting sideways, reducing up and down muzzle movement and improving reliability“. Let’s take a closer look.

With an increasing number of shooters covering a vast variety of ages and demographics, the engineers over at Meprolight have looked at the advantages that their FT Bullseye rear sight offered shooters and decided to improve the experience with a front sight to match. The new Mepro FT Bullseye front sight is intended to give shooters a better focus on the front sight to improve target acquisition, speed, and accuracy.

FAB Defense have introduced the Collapsible Rapid Adjustment Precision Stock (RAPS-C), an adjustable stock “designed for the precision minded shooter who wants a full-featured adjustable precision rifle stock with carbine functionality”. The RAPS-C has a latch system that locks both the length of pull and the cheek rest height with one lever that can be configured for right or left-hand shooters. It also has a spring-loaded butt which remembers the user’s previously selected length of pull and will spring back to that position when deployed.

XS Sights, manufacturers of a variety of “iron” sights and firearm accessories, are now adding Henry lever-action rifles to the extensive list of firearms they serve. Let’s see more in detail what the company is offering.

The catalog of Italian/American company WOOX currently contains three rifle chassis – Furiosa, Exactus and Wild Man. Up until now, the WOOX chassis were available for bolt action rifles only (Remington 700, Tikka T3, Sauer 100, Savage 110, Howa 1500). Well, the company has just expanded this product line by introducing versions of all three chassis compatible with the Ruger 10/22 rimfire semi-auto rifle.
