The shooting range pictured above (including the weather) makes me really jealous. The new RAW-10 6.5 Creedmoor rifle from Red Arrow Weapons doesn’t look bad either. The Midnight Bronze Cerakote finish really shines, and the package should be capable of accurate hits really far out.

Rock River Arms just introduced the RBG-1S Precision Bolt Action Rifle and now it’s time for a lightweight rifle in the AR platform called the Light Predator2L. The components are interesting, with a 16″ stainless steel fluted barrel, two-stage match trigger and a carbon fiber handguard.

It’s become quite difficult in the last couple of months to find in-stock firearms parts and sometimes even accessories. One company that I have noticed that has kept up with the high demand is Bear Creek Arsenal. Bear Creek makes everything from stripped firearms components all the way up to completed rifles for almost every AR caliber imaginable. Bear Creek sent me out one of their 16-inch 5.56 upper receivers to put it through some testing and evaluation so today we’ll look into how well this upper receiver did in a few “average joe” tests.

With the modularity of the AR-15 and AR-10 systems, there is an endless number of potential sling attachment points. One of the more popular ways to attach a sling to the rear of the rifle is to run it to the endplate. Strike Industries has now released their Multi-Function End Plate and Anti-Rotation Castle Nut.

AR-15 triggers have been one of Jard Inc.’s specialties, but they’ve claimed a first in the firearms industry by creating a Set Trigger for AR-15 rifles and pistols. For those not familiar with the concept or the term, a set trigger can be fired in two ways; using a more standard weight of trigger pull; or by “setting” the trigger forward, which takes considerably less weight off the trigger pull. Nearly 4 years ago, sometime in May of 2017, the Santa Cruz Police Department made the shocking discovery that one of their AR-15 carbines had gone missing from the police armory. According to police Lieutenant Arnold Vasquez, the rifle was last accounted for on February 9th, 2017. Since then an investigation has been underway to discover how and where the missing/stolen weapon had gone but has yet to turn over any conclusive results.

Last week’s announcement finalizing the purchase of Colt by the CZ Group left fans of both brands with more questions than answers. SBR’s and PSB stabilized AR Pistols are handy for sure.  Their shorter OAL makes them a great candidate for a lightweight and compact defensive firearm, especially as a suppressor host.  Short barrels chambered in 5.56 have one major…shortcoming. The velocity and resultant lethality loss due to the reduction of barrel length.  Hornady has some relatively new ammunition to remedy this shortcoming, however:  Hornady Black HD SBR 75gr.

American Tactical has just added a window version of their popular Schmeisser S60 magazine. The S60 windowed magazine retains the same great glass-reinforced construction and high capacity but with the added visual round indicator via the windowed portion of the magazine. The Breach takes a hard look at conventionally accepted charging handles and incorporates some unique and clever design decisions in order to make for a more effective, durable, and user-friendly charging handle for today’s shooter.

For readers that are familiar with the German Army rifle trials, and the Haenel piston operated rifle submission, a pistol version of that rifle is being imported by B&T. Haenel’s pistol version, dubbed the B&T 15 for the importation, should be available by mid-2021. The B&T 15 will feature 100 percent German-made parts and will have quite a few features over a standard AR-15 patterned rifle or pistol.

Yes, it’s true: B&T will be importing the Haenel CR-223 as the B&T-15. The CR-223 is a semi-automatic gas-operated 5.56×45mm NATO carbine designed by C.G. Haenel in Germany. It’s basically the semi-auto version of the MK556. The CR-223/MK-556 has been in use by law enforcement agencies and German military units since 2017. Now, B&T will be importing this fine piece of German military technology for the American public.

For those of you following the “ What Would Stoner Do” (WWSD) series on the InRangeTV YouTube channel, you know that a monolithic polymer AR-15 Lower receiver is in the works. This polymer lower is being produced by KE Arms, and they’ve dubbed the new AR component as the KP-15. It features an A1 length stock and will come in four different configurations in regards to the internal parts. Springfield Armory is one company that is triumphantly charging forward with nearly all of their firearms in high-demand. In fact, Springfield Armory has taken their SAINT Victor and chambered it in 350 Legend to give hunters a more premium option for big-game hunting.

TFB has written a lot about the German manufacturer C.G. Haenel lately, but the dust seems to have settled a little. First, they won the tender for Germany’s next army weapon, then they didn’t. It’s all quite confusing even for those who are trying to keep up on a daily basis, but in this article, we’re going to forget all about that and focus on one of their new products. After all, the company is probably most known as a supplier of the G29 sniper rifle for the German Army. It’s called the Haenel RS9 and chambered in .338 Lapua Magnum.

Relax, 2020 isn’t all doom and gloom. The NSSF has just announced that nearly 20 million Modern Sporting Rifles (MSRs) are in circulation in the United States. The term MSR refers to AR-15 style guns that commonly get mislabeled as assault rifles by the media and politicians. This data along with the ATF Firearms Commerce in the United States showing over 430M firearms in the hands of the citizenry seems to state that Americans enjoy the individual liberties that allow them to buy, own and use guns. On top of that, the violent crime rate continues to fall to record low levels.
