The sight is an Aimpoint ACRO P-2 mounted on a Reptilia Corp. Pretty much a dream gun for a lot of people, including myself.

TFB Review: C&H Precision ERD-1 Red Dot Sight
Everyone loves a good large windowed enclosed optic with quick brightness adjustments and a crisp reticle. C&H has entered the game with their ERD-1 which was announced at SHOT2024. I had a chance to talk with the very kind folks there and they gave me the low down. I feel embarrassed to say I do not remember much of what was said but it was because I was so interested in the ERD-1. It had my attention and I knew I had to review it down the road. They were nice enough to send a T&E sample my way when production got rolling so here we are. How does it stand up in today’s market? Let’s dive right into my review of the C&H Precision ERD-1 Red Dot Sight!

Every time they bring something new to the market, they do so in hushed tones and I accidentally stumble upon them like a diamond in the rough. Like, “Where the heck did this come from?” So, I submit to you example #7,892 of their awfully quiet marketing strategy - the unveiling of the Coyote Series and Combo Series.

It turns out that the Czechoslovak Group (CSG) really really really wants to buy Vista Outdoors’ ammunition business. They want it so bad that they’ve actually upped their bid again, ahead of a crucial shareholder vote that will see whether or not a huge chunk of American domestic ammo manufacturing ends up with foreign ownership.

POTD: Up-Close With The Next Generation Squad Weapon Testing
Photo Of The Day and now is the time to get up-close with the Next Generation Squad Weapon. There are a lot of new angles and circles in the design of this firearm and its optics. Above you see U.S. Army Sgt. Victor Don-Martinez, a forward observer with Headquarters and Headquarters Battery, 1st Battalion, 113th Field Artillery Regiment, North Carolina Army National Guard, engaging targets with the XM7 rifle and XM157 scope, part of the Next Generation Squad Weapon system, during testing of the system at Fort Liberty, North Carolina.
