Photo Of The Day and we take a closer look at Danish soldiers with the standard issue Gevær M/10 C8IUR, delivered by Colt Canada. Generally, the accessories are the ELCAN C79A2 or Aimpoint CompM4s sights with DBAL A3 lasers, but as you can see in these images, there seems to be some room for personalization. The backup sights are the Magpul MBUS Flip-up sights.

Some of the other firearms used by the Danish Army are the Colt Canada C20 DMR, the SIG Sauer P320 X-Carry and as a machine gun they use the M60E made by U.S. Ordnance.

“Urban Terrain and cities is one of the most difficult disciplines to master. Easy on paper, something completely, completely different in reality. It is also an activity that can cost the unit dearly if not done properly.”

The total strength of the Danish Army is approximately 7000 to 9000 professional troops, excluding conscripts undergoing basic training.
