Davidsons distributor has always been known for providing the firearms industry with some of the most attractive, early-release, and creative guns we have ever seen and 2019 is going to be no different! They were in attendance at SHOT Show and we made sure to swing by their booth and get the scoop on the latest and greatest Exclusives they have to offer for the new year. Let’s take a stroll through all of the New, Exclusive handguns they will have that you cannot get anywhere else!

You may never heard about Aguila Ammunition, but they have been around for a long time. The company was founded in 1961, and to this day, ammunition is manufactured in Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico.

Global Ordnance is a company known throughout the world for sourcing and providing arms and munitions to government and law enforcement entities. At SHOT Show 2019 they brought with them something I mis-identified as an energy drink, and boy was I wrong! They have a new, creative way of selling ammunition in a sealed pop can they are dubbing CanMunition.

Here’s something I stumbled upon at SHOT Show 2019 that’s not AR-15 related. The folks over at Acu Tek Arms just released their AK bull barrel and improved assembly. There’s actually been a couple cool new AK related products at SHOT Show this year. There’s the Armamentos .22LR AK Conversion Kit, Krebs Custom 9×39 AK-9 Pistol Prototype and the Kalashnikov USA KR-9.

Crimson Trace brought an absolute haul of goods to SHOT Show’s “Industry Day at the Range” because they could be found in multiple shooting bays and on other firearm manufacturer’s products. This covered everything from their NEW Lasersaddle made for the Mossberg Shockwave, their new series of riflescopes, and even their red dots. It was a lot to take in, but we tried to visit them all (and shoot as much ammunition as possible through them). Let’s take a look!

Don’t you step on POF’s blue suede rifle.  Well, it’s not really suede, but their new “Wonder” rifle has a lot of neat features, not least of which is a “Blue Titanium” colored upper and lower receiver.  The Wonder’s standout features are the new “Strike Eagle charging handle, named for the eagle head semblance of the ambidextrous latches, the 3.5lb flat single stage trigger, and the new Micro B single port muzzle brake.  According to POF, the new brake, though very compact, is nearly as effective in recoil reduction as their triple port brake.  The Wonder is 6.18lbs, and comes in at $1599.  The wonder also has a 14.5” rail covering its match grade nitrided and heat treated barrel.  The gas system is carbine length.

At range day this year, I took the opportunity to shoot some new handguns from Kimber.  First up was their new K6s DASA 3″ and 2″ revolver.  As the name intimates, this revolver has an exposed hammer that can be manually cocked for single action, as well as a 3″ barrel.  Trigger pull was very smooth with no perceptible stacking in double action mode (9.5-10.5lbs).  The single action trigger broke crisply at between 3.25-4.25lbs when the hammer was manually cocked.  I have to give Kimber some plaudits on the sights.  Thought they are just white 3-dot, the size and serrations make them easy to pick up very quickly in daylight conditions.  I fired 24 rounds of .38 and .357 though the DASA, and didn’t miss once.  Recoil is really not bad with the .357s.  The K6s 3″ has the same size grip as the hammerless K6s 3″, but in a lighter, red walnut color.

Anyone who is interested in long-range and precision shooting probably knows about Norma. Swedish company, it was founded in 1902 by Enger brothers from Oslo, Norway, who had founded Norma Projektilfabrik A/S in Norway a few years earlier. Norma is world famous for their high quality hinting ammunition. At the 2019 Shot Show Norma presented its new hunting round – Bond strike extreme.

Brownells had the most announcements of anyone I visited here at SHOT SHOW. It took me most of one morning just gathering the info on their SHOT SHOW releases. They are heavy on their RETRO line, which I think is pretty cool. I am finally old enough to appreciate it. These are all too new to be available on their website, but I was told all will soon be. I will do my best to give you a show of them.

During the SHOT Show 2019 Bond Arms has introduced two new firearms – an aluminum framed derringer and the longer barreled version of their Bullpup9 pistol called Bullpup9L. Both guns have some really interesting features. Let’s take a closer look.

Bergera has been listening to their shooter base because for 2019 they have new desired caliber offerings, left-handed rifles, and new models available for the first time. Everything from their Timber and Woodsman up to their Ridgeback has had a discerning eye looked at it to give hunters more of what they want. Small changes, but desired modifications, indeed. Let’s take a look at everything!

At the 2019 SHOT Show Beretta debuted a few new color combos for their M9A3 pistols as well as a new 92G Elite model. They also released new camo patterns for their shotguns and an all new premium line of shotguns.

Head Down Arms was present at SHOT Show showing off all of their Cerakote capabilities as well as their newest rifle in “The Solutionary.” For those of you familiar with Maj Toure of the “ Black Guns Matter” inner city, firearm educational movement he has teamed up with Head Down Arms and gotten his own black gun made. The rifle is aptly named “The Solutionary” because Maj Toure motivates people to think critically to arrive at their own solutions. The people who follow him on social media are also affectionately dubbed Solutionarys.

The name of this company is probably not familiar to many of you. If you visit their booth at SHOT Show you’ll be surprised discovering that some of the very well known firearm brands are exhibited there. And the reason is that the Strategic Armory Corps is the parent company of the following five brands – Armalite, AWC Silencers, McMillan Firearms, Nexus Ammunition, and Surgeon Rifles.

The “Industry Day at the Range” is often the most fun portion of SHOT Show because you have the opportunity to shoot firearms you either could never afford, are not legal where you live, or might not see on store shelves for a long time. With the already surging popularity of the Glock G43X and G48 which were recently announced, I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to test and shoot them myself! I was not the only person to have that same train of thought.

The talk of SHOT Show, and leading up to it, has been the NEW Mossberg MC1 sc 9mm perfectly suited for concealed carry. This is the 1st handgun that Mossberg has produced in 100 years. So aside from the fact that the MC1 sc 9mm is a solid carry option it has been forever since you heard “Mossberg” and “handgun” in the same sentence.

In this article, we’ll take a look at some of the new SIG Sauer products that were displayed at the company’s booth during the SHOT Show 2019 exhibition. Probably the coolest firearm in their booth was the new .338 Norma Magnum medium machine gun placed inside a glass display case right in the middle of the company’s booth. But let’s come down to earth and talk about the firearms that we can actually own. Here is a photo report of new SIG Sauer firearms seen at SHOT Show.

Kel-Tec has come out with two new firearms for Shot Show 2019. The CP33 and the KS7.

In November, FN America announced that SCAR20S, civilian version of FN MK 20 SSR – Sniper Support Rifle will soon be available for the US customers on the civilian market. FN MK 20 SSR is currently used by US SOCOM units under the designation MK 20 Mod O Sniper Support Rifle.

Mean Arms are the guys behind the MA Loader. It is a new style of stripper clip that allows you to load 10 rds of 5.56 into the ejection port of an AR15. This was a way to help those who build a fixed magazine AR15 in states like California. Well they have some new ideas like their Mean Arms pistol and trigger based bolt release.

The new products of Remington Arms Company were displayed in a separate stand at their SHOT Show 2019 booth. Pretty much all of these guns have been recently announced so these are not products that are released at the show but the new firearms that they will start shipping in 2019. Perhaps the most interesting new Remington guns are the following three.

Springfield Armory was in attendance at SHOT Show’s “Industry Day at the Range,” and they brought along a lot of their new toys for all of us to enjoy and check out in person. The highlight for many people was absolutely the New 911 9mm. The 911 model itself has been received very well, but people have been begging for it to be offered in 9mm, and now they have it.

Radetec ( Rade Technology Corporation) has been covered by TFB before for some pretty incredibly technology. In 2012 they announced a shot counter built into the grips of your pistol that appeared to be technology far ahead of its time. Now fast-forward to SHOT Show 2019 and they have something else to blow your mind: a Smart Glock slide.

One of the biggest challenges every company has is to never stop innovating and moving forward, especially when things are going well. Going into 5.11 booth at the 2019 Shot Show I really did not know if I will have something to write about, but after a product demonstration I was really impressed with the concept of the  Low Vis Collection  and the fact that 5.11 recognises an issue that developed in the recent years.

Finally, at long last, we get a chance to personally inspect the Angstad Arms SCW– 9, and our first impressions? It’s amazingly tiny. With an overall length of just 14.7”, the SCW-9 is easily backpack or briefcase ready. The collapsing stock has gone through a design change, sporting a new lower profile and a single, left-side support bar that allows for the stock’s use on guns with a forward assist. The stock unit, as you will see below, will be available as a separate purchase. Angstad is also grinding away at getting a pistol stabilizing brace version approved and ready for prime time.

LMT Defense ( Lewis Machine & Tool Company) attended SHOT Show’s “Industry Day at the Range” and brought with them some very cool firearms like many companies in attendance. All of our left-handed shooters in the audience will be glad to hear that for 2019 LMT Defense is producing completely ambidextrous versions of their MARS (Modular Ambidextrous Rifle System) firearms.
