Holosun Announces DRS-NV Will Be Available At Dealers Soon

Holosun has grown to be an industry leader in optics in recent years. Many of their red dots and reflex sights have become some of the most popular options on the market, following on from more humble reputational beginnings. They have also dabbled in the night vision game, with their product catalog including a selection of infrared laser and illuminator units. Around SHOT Show 2023, Holosun revealed that they were working on getting deeper into the low-light shooting market by virtue of a pair of upcoming digital prototype optics, one thermal and one standard NV. Now a year later, the night vision model is ready and heading to market soon. Breakthrough Clean Technologies, based in Louisville, Colorado, was founded in 2013. [SHOT Show 2024] NEW Daniel Defense PCC

New for 2024, Daniel Defense is bringing their first-ever pistol caliber carbine to market. Hop dropped in on a rain-soaked Daniel Defense range day to shoot it and get the details. The aptly but boringly named DD PCC is built around the readily available 9mm CZ Scorpion magazine pattern and has fully ambidextrous controls mirrored on both sides of the receiver. Recoil is mitigated by a hydraulic buffer system from Kynshot. Most of the other parts are standard to the AR platform. The Daniel Defense PCC will be available initially with a 16″ barrel or as a factory SBR with an 8.5″ barrel, both paired with the Daniel Defense MFR M-LOK handguard.

SIG SAUER Releases Special-Edition Multicam MCX-SPEAR LT

SIG SAUER unveiled their MCX-SPEAR LT series of firearms in the fall of 2022, following up from the prior release of their large-frame SPEAR model. The original SPEAR is essentially the commercial version of their DoD Next Generation Squad Weapon (NGSW) program entry to replace the military’s aging M4 carbines. The LT versions were added to maintain the design’s advantages while bringing additional options to buyers in further chamberings, such as 5.56 or 300 BLK. Now SIG has announced the release of a new special edition of their popular SPEAR LT, which is offered in Multicam thanks to their partnership with custom Cerakote gurus Blowndeadline, rather than the series’ standard FDE or black.
