Nosler unveils new additions to E-tip and RDF lines of ammunition

Nosler has just unveiled several new E-Tip loads just in time for hunting season, along with the first .30-caliber RDF (Reduced Drag Factor) load for precision use.   The Nosler E-Tip is a boat-tail, nontoxic, solid gilding metal bullet.  The composition is 95% copper and 5% zinc.  Featuring a ballistic tip seated over an expansion cavity, Nosler claims 95% weight retention with the E-Tip.  The RDF bullet is claimed to have “the smallest. most consistent meplats of any hollow point match bullet”.

Ruger Reports Large Earnings Drop for Q2 2017

I am going to admit, I have been putting off writing this post for a bit because I really hate reporting bad news. Ruger recently announced that they experienced a reasonably significant earnings drop for the second quarter of 2017 translating to smaller payouts for stock holders. Reporting only $299.2 million in net sales this quarter, Ruger just didn’t come close to the same period of 2016 where Ruger reported net sales of $341.1 million.
