Sometimes when you’re at the range, hunkered down with supporting bags for a precision shot, the rifle slips off the bag and you just can’t get a comfortable, stable position. Oregon-based Catalyst Arms, a company that specialises in rimfire accessories, has introduced the Apex Bag Rider, an extension for the Ruger Precision Rimfire’s buttstock. The Bag Rider is basically an extension that provides more surface area to contact the supporting bag. Everyone who carries has a different experience. However, one experience that we all share is the seemingly neverending search for the best belt and hoster. Vantac D.A.D.S. (Direct Access Defense System) is an AR-15 stock system that allows adjusting the length of pull (LOP) without breaking your grip, cheek weld or sight picture. 2020 and 2021 have and still continue to be a whirlwind of unpredictability and insanity. Well, this was the last thing I was expecting to see come out of the gun industry! Just a few days ago Noveske, a well-respected producer of AR-15 rifles, released their Water Hog 5000 squirt gun. In an earlier review, we took a look at the jeans from Dynamis Alliance. In this review, we’ll be examining the pouch system that goes along with the jeans, called the IWS. Current pouches range from Glock 19 and SIG P365 holsters, associated magazine pouches (AR15 STANAG and handgun, even MP7), trauma kits, baton pouches, and even a small utility pouch for those slim minimalist wallets that are all the rage these days. With the exception of the handgun holsters and the knife sheaths, these pouches are made from either a thin, stretchy fabric in the case of the IWS EDC Pouch, or in the case of the magazine holsters, a smooth canvas-like material that collapses against your body when the magazine has been withdrawn.

A lot of the “grey man” gear I see online I feel goes out of its way to be exactly the opposite. Personally, I hate jeans. Unlike my colleague James Reeves, the outer garments have always been too tight, with too few options for pockets, and I feel they are restricting to me in warmer climates when I need clothing to be loose. Welcome back to the Underground Arms Watch. The first week of June saw a number of seizures of the FGC-9, the widely reported on 3D printable 9mm carbine released by Deterrence Dispensed last year. The example below was one of two seized from a ‘factory’ operating in Tampere, Finland which was uncovered during raids on addresses connected to criminal groups making use of the compromised encrypted chat network known as AN0M.

Bushnell has just released their latest addition to the laser rangefinder arena – the Prime 1800 6×24 laser rangefinder. The new rangefinder features Bushnell’s new ActivSync Display that automatically switches between red and black to provide the viewer with the best contrast for the current conditions. In addition to the new ActivSync Display, the Prime 1800 also claims to deliver 2X the light transmission over other rangefinders in its class.

There are two main reasons to have a spare magazine when you’re carrying a firearm. The first is obviously more ammunition. The second is in case of malfunctions.
