Welcome back to another edition of Concealed Carry Corner. Last week, we talked about how to avoid potentially risky situations and how to de-escalate if you are ever confronted. This week I wanted to take a look at the differences between how my dad carries a concealed pistol and how I will typically carry a gun. We were similar in styles when I first started carrying about 15 years ago but now we have both changed and carry drastically different. Today we’ve brought back Kirk from Aero Precision to talk a bit about “backpack guns.” What that term means exactly is largely up to the user but we thought we’d try to tackle the discussion from a more modern perspective. What you bring into the field with you is often going to be dictated by what you’re out there for in the first place. Why a design that is over 40 years old has so deeply and indelibly penetrated the firearms market is a bit perplexing. Everywhere you turn at the gun range, it is Glocks as far as the eye can see. Gaston Glock obviously was onto something because here we are 42 years later deploying them for military, law enforcement, competition, self-defense, and general tomfoolery at the range purposes. FPV kamikaze drones have really changed the battlefield. They are small, fast, cheap and devastating against infantry and vehicles alike. In this article, we’ll take a look at one of the latest anti-drone devices, a rifle attachment called Dronoboy developed by Russian company BRT (one of the leading suppressor manufacturers in Russia).
