Taurus has joined the zombie craze with a zombified version of the Raging Judge Magnum. The can chamber .454 Casull, .45 Colt and 2.5″/3″ .410 shotshells.

Last month the moderators of the Taurus Armed forum toured the Taurus International HQ in Miami, FL. Their writeup is well worth reading.

Taurus has produced polymer versions of their tiny tip-barrel mouse guns.

I am not sure how new the Taurus Judge Model 4510TKR-3SSR is, but I had noticed it before. The 3″ barreled revolver features a ported barrel and picatinny rail.

A Tennessee man dropped his revolver whilst driving and managed to negligently discharge it into his legs. This type of negligent discharge is more common with semi-auto pistols than with double action revolvers, which have a much heavier trigger pull. Richard has published an excellent review, with a lot of photos, of the Taurus Tracker 44, a relatively lightweight .44 Magnum revolver.

Taurus has introduced two new revolvers.

At LAAD ’11 Taurus introduced a new assault rifle called the ART556. The rifle, as its name suggests, is chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO.

At the LAAD ’11 expo in Brazil Taurus exhibited a version of their Taurus Carbine CT G2 with a quad rail and folding stock. The model that goes on sale later this year in the US lacks side rails and has a fixed thumbhole stock. Taurus needs to bring this model to the USA ASAP.

The new Tracker 992 revolver from Taurus comes with both a 9-chamber .22 LR cylinder and a 9-chamber .22 Magnum cylinder.

Taurus has given the Protector Polymer revolver line a refresh for 2011. The 5-shot revolver now comes chambered in both .38 Special +P and .357 Magnum. Both are available with a stainless or blued finish.
