Ukraine Manufacturing Tavor in 5.45x39mm
Ukrainian state-owned firm RPC Fort (Research and Production Company Fort of the Ministry of Interior of Ukraine) is manufacturing under license a variant of the IWI Tavor chambered in 5.45x39mm Russian.
IWI GL 40S Grenade Launcher
IWI will be debuting their new 40x46mm GL 40S Grenade Launcher at upcoming Eurosatory ’12 expo. It is a standard single shot grenade launcher that integrates well with the Tavor. It is side opening and so accommodates longer 40mm rounds.
IWI TAVOR Coming to USA
After the appearance of the TAVAR at SHOT Show, there has been much speculation as to who will bring the Tavor to the USA and how much it will cost. A post at AR15.com suggests that IWI is manufacturing the receiver in the USA and importing parts kits from Israel.
Umarex / IWI UZI .22 LR Rifle and Pistol
Umarex USA are importing .22 pistols and rifles patterned on the famous UZI machine gun. The guns are manufactured by Carl Walther in Germany but are branded IWI (the official UZI manufacturer). There are two models. The rifle model modeled after the UZI carbine and includes a folding stock and faux suppressor. The pistol model is modeled after the Micro UZI machine pistol.
IWI Galil Ace Rifle with Folding Stock
A reader sent me this video published by IWI showing the Galil Ace with a Micro Galil folding stock and cheek riser. All the marketing material from IWI that I had seen previously featured the gun with their new M4-style adjustable stock. The Galil Micro is the compact PDW version of the original Galil with an 8″ barrel.
IWI's New Stock for the UZI Pro
ArmyRecognition.com published a photo of an IWI UZI Pro on display at DSEi ’11 (London’s Defense Expo) featuring a new stock design and slightly different forend. The new stock is polymer with an adjustable cheek piece. I cannot make out if the stock is foldable. The previous stock was the standard UZI steel side folder. The newer forend now incorporates a collapsable foregrip and a slightly different trigger guard.
Magnum Research IWI "Classic" Desert Eagle
Since 2009 all Desert Eagles have been produced in Magnum Research’s Pillager, Minn. facility. Magnum Research / Kahr will be selling a limited edition of the Desert Eagle featuring original (“classic”) parts made by IWI in Israel. These pistols will have the original two-piece barrel and claw-type safety.

IWI Galil ACE rifle adopted by Guatemala National Civil Police
The Guatemalan National Civil Police have purchased 3,000 of IWI’s Galil ACE rifle at a cost of 4.6 million USD. They went with the Model 31 (7.62x39mm) version. Also purchased were 8,000 IWI Jericho pistols in 9mm for 3.2 million USD.
IWI Jericho B pistol
Along with the UZI and Galil, IWI has also given the Jericho pistol a new look. The Jericho B pistol has a new polymer frame design with a Walther-esque grip and a slightly different safety.
UZI Pro: Polymer meets Uzi
The UZI Pro is a new 9mm submachine gun from IWI. It is essentially a Micro UZI with a polymer lower, styled after the Tavor, and quad picatinny rails.
K.B.I. importing Jericho 941 pistol
K.B.I. Inc. , which includes Charles Daly, is again importing the IWI Jericho 941 pistol that was previously imported by Magnum Research under the Baby Eagle brand name.
