ATI Gunstocks posted photos of a new rail system for the Molot VEPR rifles on their Facebook page. The aluminium handguard has rails in six positions (top, bottom and at 45, 135, 225 and 315 degree angles). The hanguard has a slim profile with the top rail raised to clear the gas system. It is pictured below on a .308 Win. chambered VEPR.

Reuters has published a fascinating look into Filipino gun industry that is transforming from illegal backyard workshops to legal factories. The factory highlighted in the article, Shooters Arms Manufacturing, manufactures guns for American Tactical Imports.

ATI’s Strikeforce Stocks allow a AR-15 stock and pistol grip fitted to Saiga shotguns without permentant modifications. The Saiga guns come from the factory with a hunting-style butt-stock and the trigger moved right back to the rear of the receiver, preventing a standard AK pistol grip from being installed without modifying the receiver (this is in order to claim that the Saiga is a sporting-only gun, not an AK with a hunting butt-stock).

No longer do you need to be a dictator of a small country or a drug lord to afford a gold plated AK or MP5. ATI will soon be importing gold plated versions of the GSG-522, GSG Kalashnikov and GSG-5PK. It is real gold plating, not a faux-gold finish.

Last year American Tactical Imports announced they were importing the German Sport Guns Stg 44 patterned .22 rifle. ATI now has ATF approval and it will go on sale shortly.

ATI is selling a .223 AR-15 / 37mm flare launcher combo. At $999.95 it is not a bad deal for a whole lot of tacti-cool fun. The AR-15 is pretty basic M4-style rifle with quadrail handguard.

Next year (2012) American Tactical Imports will be selling a .22 rifle patterned after the Sturmgewehr 44. The gun on display was just a prototype but it felt and looked great. The gun will be manufactured by GSG (who make the MP5 .22 clones) and imported into the USA by ATI.

American Tactical Imports is importing a series of 1911 pistols made by Shooters Arms Manufacturing in the Philippines.

American Tactical Imports are bringing in a new .22 chambered AR-15. The Varmint Killer VK-22 is made by Chiappa Firearms and features an AR-15 lower receiver and a dedicated .22 LR A3-style upper. The lower can be used with any AR-15 upper.
