POTD: Peak Swedish Automatkarbin 5
Photo Of The Day with what could be the peak of the Swedish Ak5. The Automatkarbin 5 is a variant of the FN FNC, and it’s going to be replaced over the coming years by the Sako Ak24. This Ak5 looks like it’s brand new. The French captain just got an axe as a gift from the Swedish Coastal Rangers.
We also have what could be peak Ak4 (Heckler & Koch G3), with the Spuhr upgrade to the right in the image. This rifle is for sure going to outlive the Ak5. To the left is possibly the Finnish Nylands brigade (Coastal rangers) with updated RK/95s or possibly RK62s.
To the far left we have a Heckler & Koch HK416F, short version, with golden barrel holding a blue flag.
