POTD: Green Berets In Training

Photo Of The Day is the best online place to view the coolest images of firearms and soldiers. Here we have a Green Beret with the 2nd Battalion, 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne), pulling security during a joint raid training operation alongside the U.S. Coast Guard Maritime Security Response Team (East) at Fort Campbell, 2024.

The carbine has a Trijicon MRO red dot in a fancy mount, and what seems to be a handguard from Geissele.

Forward planning is the way to go when spraying “Breach Me” on plywood.

“The Green Berets are the U.S. Army’s experts in guerrilla warfare and unconventional tactics. The Maritime Security Response Teams (MSRT) are a highly specialized resource with advanced counterterrorism skills and tactics. The purpose of the training is to bolster joint combat capabilities and increase effectiveness by sharing tactics and techniques.“
