We are seeing more and more of the Next Generation Squad Weapons, and unsurprisingly these images are some of the most popular to look at - and comment on - among our Photo Of The Day series of articles.

Above you see Sgt. Laharey Robinson, an infantryman assigned to Bravo Co., 1st Battalion, 120th Infantry Regiment, 30th Armored Brigade Combat Team, as he test fires "his" newly fielded Next Generation Squad Weapon Rifle (NGSW-R); XM7 during the qualification table of the Integrated Weapons Training Strategy at Fort Liberty, North Carolina on June 6, 2024.

Soldiers assigned to the 30th Armored Brigade Combat Team scan their firing lanes before conducting their qualification table of the Integrated Weapons Training Strategy on the newly fielded Next Generation Squad Weapon Rifle (NGSW-R) XM7 and the Next Generation Squad Weapon Automatic Rifle (NGSW-AR), XM250 at Fort Liberty, North Carolina.
The 30th ABCT is a Major Subordinate Command that falls under the North Carolina National Guard and was selected to be the first National Guard unit to field test the XM7 and the XM250, which are replacing current weapons systems M4/M4A1 carbine and the M249 Squad Automatic Weapon.
Staff Sgt. Daniel Beekman, an infantryman assigned to Bravo Co., 1st Battalion, 120th Infantry Regiment, 30th Armored Brigade Combat Team, test fires the newly fielded Next Generation Squad Weapon Rifle (NGSW-R), XM7, during the qualification table of the Integrated Weapons Training Strategy at Fort Liberty, North Carolina on June 6, 2024.

If you keep the comments coming, we'll keep the images coming!

I wonder when the Magpul mags will get NSN’s for fielding.

And when does the Army plan on selecting next gen LBE? Obviously SO Tech is the front runner, but Spiritus and a handful of other companies also have solutions available (and obviously marketed towards NGSW)?
