Galco’s Walkabout 3.0 IWB Holster For SIG-Sauer P365XL

Galco has announced the Walkabout 3.0 IWB holster for the SIG P365XL. Already available for the standard P365, the Walkabout 3.0 is part of Galco's Concealed Carry Lite line of holsters, offering all the benefits of the WalkAbout 2.0, including premium center-cut steerhide construction, a metal-reinforced mouth for easy holstering, and attached spare magazine carrier, but now it also fits most carry-style optics!

Like its predecessor, the WalkAbout 3.0 converts for right or left-hand use and features adjustable cant. The ambidextrous holster comes with two styles of interchangeable tuckable belt clips, the UniClip, designed to go over the belt up to 1 3/4” but also works well without a belt, and the Ultimate Stealth clip that fits on the trouser waistband, under or behind a belt with just the hook showing, for the ultimate concealment. The cant-adjustable belt clips make the WalkAbout 3.0 suitable for strongside, crossdraw, or appendix carry, offering exceptional performance, comfort, and versatility.

The WalkAbout 3.0's attached magazine carrier has a more pronounced angle than previous versions allowing pistols with most carry-style red-dot optics greater clearance of the spare magazine's floorplate when drawing. A secondary benefit of the holster’s new geometry is the ability to draw the magazine faster when reloading, especially from the appendix position. The open top on the WalkAbout 3.0 helps speed up your draw while the reinforced mouth allows smooth and easy return of the gun to the holster without obstruction.

The WalkAbout 3.0 is available on Galco’s website for an MSRP of $59.

How does the Galco WalkAbout 3.0 size up for your P365XL everyday carry? I can see this for the appendix position, but what do you think about cross-drawing your spare magazine? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below.
