Sig Sauer Announces The New KILO6K-HDX Gen II Rangefinding Binoculars

Sig has just announced its KILO6K-HDX Gen II Rangefinding Binoculars and, as a long-range shooter, this one excites me. Lightweight and packed with features like improved optics, a re-engineered armored housing, onboard environmental sensors, and ballistic app compatibility, the KILO6-HDX Gen II promises to deliver big capability in a compact optical system that’s designed for the most rugged environments.

Construction

The KILO6-HDX Gen II has been redesigned for extreme durability and ergonomics, featuring a rubber-armored housing with improved textures around the main focus wheel and diopter rings for a sure grip and finite control over all adjustments. Sig Sauer’s upgraded HDX lens system improves light transmission and optical resolution while larger 42mm objective lenses offer superior light gathering without sacrificing a slim and streamlined profile that won’t weigh you down in the field.

Ballistics

Need a firing solution? The KILO6-HDX Gen II includes Sig’s proprietary Archery Mode, Applied Ballistics Ultralight, and onboard temperature, pressure, and humidity sensors, connecting with Kestrel and Garmin devices to deliver real-time environmental data and customized ballistic calculations.

Rangefinder

The KILO6K-HDX Gen II’s internal compass enables user-created remote waypoints on ranged targets via popular mobile apps onX Hunt and BaseMap. Sig’s powerful Gen II Lightwave DSP Ranging Engine features the same proven technology that made KILO rangefinders a dominant force among hunters and long-range shooters for a decade.

The KILO6-HDX Gen II is available now on Sig Sauer’s website, and as I write this, the company is offering free shipping on both 8X and 10X models. Considering the durability, optics, and feature-rich capabilities of the KILO6-HDX Gen II backed by Sig Sauer’s Infinite Guarantee, I’m looking forward to trying these out myself. The 8X model comes with an MSRP of $899.99 while the 10X gets bumped up to $999.99 for the convenience of a bit more magnification.
