At SHOT Show 2022, Dead Foot Arms released several new products and had head-turner builds displayed in their booth like their Killdozer AR, themed after  Marvin Heemeyer‘s bulldozer. I am not sure how a bulldozer blade shaped muzzle device will perform. Is it a blast diverter, flash hider or maybe a flash enhancer?! Go ahead and name it in the comments section.

Mec-Gar manufactures a sizeable share of magazines on the market today. In fact, you may own a Mec-Gar magazine without even knowing it because they are an OEM supplier to many of the biggest names in the gun industry. Mec-Gar is Italian, and, despite the difficult COVID situation in that country, had a record year for magazine production.

Mesa Tactical is known for their wide range of shotgun accessories. Their Sureshell carrier has become the de facto standard sidesaddle mount for most law enforcement shotguns. It features a picatinny top rail that has been used with tube-style red dots and EOtechs.

Christensen Arms’ big new release for 2022 is the Modern Hunting Rifle (MHR).  The core of the the MHR is a chassis containing the barreled action and magazine.  Beyond that, one can select from four different stocks, two different buttpads, four different firing hand grip sections, three different fore-ends, and either a removable box magazine or hinged floorplate.  This adds up to 192 different ways to configure your rifle.

Magpul has a whole bunch of new items this week at SHOT Show 2022. The one that caught my attention is the Magpul MP5 stock and drum magazine.

Arsenal’s lineup of Bulgarian/American AK-pattern rifles is being joined by the Custom series. Various colors and camo patterns will be available for purchase, either as single guns or small batches (e.g. a signature model for a specific retail shop). If you have been hankering for Arsenal quality with a factory Cerakote job of your dreams, this is your chance.

MarColMar Firearms is best known for their revival of the CETME L rifle. This unique gun was used by the Spanish and traces its lineage back to certain other stamped steel roller delayed firearms, though it has its own personality.

Daniel Defense unveiled their new RISIII rail alongside new ambi lowers at SHOT Show 2022.  FDE versions of the new RISIII rails were seen on four Daniel Defense rifles that will ship with the new lower receivers.  Here’s a closer look at the newest generation of the rail interface system from Daniel Defense.

The long-awaited Daniel Defense RIS III handguard has finally arrived. Using DD’s 6-point lockup system and M-LOK instead of Picatinny rail, this handguard’s easier to grip, lighter, and lower-drag. DD also rolls out the new shorter-barreled Delta 5 bolt action rifle.

We’ve all made fun of Turkish clones of guns. I’m certainly guilty of it. But today I’m eating a little humble pie, as EAA imports the Girsan MC P35 Match, a Hi-Power with all the modern features.

I have to admit to being a bit of a Radian fanboy. The Raptor charging handle is second to none in my opinion, and I have one in each of my ARs at home. It looks like there might be two more Radian products coming to my personal guns, the Ramjet barrel, and Afterburner micro-compensator.

Stopping by EAA’s booth at range day, their was a whole lotta of firearms to choose from. First off, I elected to try a few magazines with the Girsan MCP35, a Browning Hi-Power clone being imported by EAA. The MCP35 can be had in quite a few different colors and finishes (including gold, if that’s your thing) as well as with a number of different grip styles.

In this episode of TFBTV, James Reeves visits with Chad of Kel-Tec to discuss the new Kel-Tec P-15. Kel-Tec started the microcompact class of guns with the Kel-Tec P-11, a hammer-fired ultra-compact 11 round 9mm. However, Kel-Tec has now modernized the P-11 as the P-15, now a striker fired ultra-compact 4″ barreled pistol.

We’ve know for a while that Beretta was partnered with General Dynamics on their NGSW submission – the bullpup RM277. Well GD have divested to True Velocity and Lone Star Future Weapons but Beretta have confirmed their continuing involvement in the project.

Zastava has gone from being merely imported to the US by third parties to importing their own AKs and taking the market over. Today on TFBTV, James Reeves is at Zastava’s booth at SHOT Show to check out their new Z77 or M77 rifle, a .308 AK-47 made in Serbia. It’s possible for Zastava to import these rifles, however, the logistics of doing so are difficult, so it’s unclear that it will happen, but it *is* possible. At SHOT Show POF unveiled a new PCC. The POF USA Phoenix has some very interesting features and not all is as it seems. Let’s take a look at this new competitor to the PCC market.

SiOnyx has made a name for themselves with their Aurora action camera. It is sensitive in low light and has been called digital night vision. However the Aurora was never designed to be a helmet mounted system. It is camera first and foremost. Well now SiOnyx has a new digital night vision monocular called the OPSIN.
