TFB Review Type A's 10.5 308 AR Pistol – The Shredder of Everything

I can’t really explain why I have wanted to try an AR-10 pistol out but it’s been a long time coming. It’s something about having such a hard-hitting round in a compact package. Let’s be honest, I know some of you are going to say I’m insane for wanting a short 308 AR pistol. I get it, you’d have to be a drunk mad man to own something so concussive in such a small package. All of those are probably valid but don’t jump to conclusions just yet. For the longest time, I kept going back and forth between building an AR-10 pistol and buying one ready to go out of the gate. After looking around for a few months, I came across the Type-A’s 10.5 308 AR pistol. I gave them a call and we figured out a gun that would work for my needs.

Russian ORSIS Starts Manufacturing AR-15 Rifles Called ORSIS-AR15J

Russian ORSIS has announced that they have set up a manufacturing line to produce AR-15 pattern rifles chambered in .223 Remington. The new rifles are called ORSIS-AR15J. They seem to be pretty standard configuration rifles but if priced right they should have a high demand in Russia because there is very limited availability of reasonably priced quality AR-15s in the local market. The company earlier used to assemble AR-15 rifles from imported parts but the new ORSIS-AR15J will be completely manufactured in-house.

Transforming KelTec RDB Into A FAMAS Clone

Recently, a Redditor named Jordan bought a Keltec RDB bullpup rifle, which is chambered in 5.56 NATO. After the RDB’s 2 month birthday, Jordan found some FAMAS airsoft parts for sale and wondered if they could be mated to his RDB. One of his goals was to not permanently alter the RDB. I admire a clear, stated goal. Another goal was to have something unique. The RDB bullpup rifle is unique in its own right when compared to the abundance of AR-15s and AKs, however, Jordan went above and beyond.

The M1 Carbine, A Great Gun For Youth And Small Framed People

The M1 Carbine was originally designed in the early days of World War 2 as a scaled-down version of the M1 Garand, the main battle rifle.  The intent wasn’t to issue the Carbine to smaller people, but for those keeping the war machine logistics running.  The idea was that people packaging or driving supplies for the front line didn’t need a large weapon or even full-power ammunition.  Because the M1 Carbine is scaled down in size and power, I’ve always believed that it was well suited for youth that have already learned the fundamentals of marksmanship on rimfire rifles.
