POTD: All The Money In One Picture

Did you ever put All The Money In One Picture? Well here’s a try. The rifle is a Tikka T3x TAC A1 in 6.5 Creedmoor, in a Spuhr SICS chassis painted in a custom Snigel Grey Cerakote. The barrel is suppressed by Ase Utra with a QD mount. Balancing on top we have a Safran Vectronix PLRF25 Laser Range Finder, Pulsar Merger Thermal Binoculars and another Vectronix Terrapin X. The wind meter is from Kestrel.

The PLRF25 Laser Range Finder is said to be able to range out to 6,000 meters, and we will give it a try. It seems to retail for over $13,000.

The riflescope is Pulsar Thermion DXP50, with a 4K day-time camera and a powerful thermal combined.

The Snigel Grey Cerakote does a great job at blending in, in a lot of places.

The Concamo camouflage does a great job at breaking up the signature, although it’s not really in its true element here. You can check out our TFB Review: Concamo Ghosthood – Confusion Camouflage System for a lot more examples.

This is Concamo’s Tripod-camo, available in green, brown and beige: https://www.ghost-hood.com/show_all/camouflage/equipment_camouflage/tripod-camo_en.aspx

Tikka T3x in the Spuhr SICS chassis with the new Schmidt & Bender 5-20×50 mm PMII Ultra Short. Note that the position of the illumination now has changed. This is one of S&B’s best optics.

    An interesting rifle and gear.

Yeah, I could go close to that--well except for the Vectronix PLRF25. I have a friend with one, brilliant unit, but I couldn't justify the $$ above a Terrapin-X.

My Tikka is in 6.5 Swedish and has Spuhr mount and S&B 56mm scope.
I was shooting it at 1300m last week along with my .338LM (interestingly, the ballistics are almost identical).
