Nightforcce Optics is FINALLY re-issuing the classic NXS 2.5-10x24 scope. This limited run of scopes will be very welcome among the cloner community. Let’s see why this niche scope still has a following today.

Optics @ TFB:

The NXS 2.5-10x24 was a staple on the Mk12 Mod 1 rifles, as well as the Mk17 SCAR and SEAL Recce rifles. This scope was the DMR optic to beat in the era before low power variable optics (LPVO) were mainstream, and when precision scopes often had mil-dot reticles and MOA turrets.

Two models of NXS 2.5-10x24 are available. One features the MOAR reticle and MOA turrets, and the other has the MIL-R reticle and MRAD turrets. Both feature illumination. A throw lever is also standard for quick magnification adjustments. Parallax is fixed at 100 yards, and the Nightforce ZeroStop system makes it easy to dial back to the original zero after making an adjustment. If you want to pick up one of these scopes you will have to move fast, this is only a limited run.

From the manufacturer:

“The Nightforce NXS 2.5-10x24mm riflescope was originally designed for Special Purpose Rifles (SPR) to enhance the capabilities of marksmen for target engagements beyond the standard 300m.

This limited production run features an integrated and removable Power Throw Lever to aid shooters in fast magnification adjustment. The elevation turret utilizes the Nightforce exposed ZeroStop for a positive mechanical stop when returning to zero. This super compact, highly capable optic is ready for duty or your next clone rifle.”

I mean, I see the appeal for those who want to match the original issue weapons, but from a usability standpoint, I feel like a 1-10x would make more sense/be more practical.

Do you own a 1-10? I had the razor 1-10 and it sucked. I also have the 2.5- 10 GLX primary arms and at 10x the primary arms Is noticeable brighter. If you search YouTube you’ll find a comparison video showing it. I’d much rather have a 2 or 3 -10 then look through a dark straw that the 1-10 I had was.
