[SHOT 2019] Remington Arms Company News (1)

The new products of Remington Arms Company were displayed in a separate stand at their SHOT Show 2019 booth. Pretty much all of these guns have been recently announced so these are not products that are released at the show but the new firearms that they will start shipping in 2019. Perhaps the most interesting new Remington guns are the following three.

Model 700-CP Bolt-Action Pistol

[SHOT 2019] Remington Arms Company News (4)

CP stands for Chassis Pistol. This weapon is basically a pistol built on the Remington 700 chassis system. It will initially be available in .300 BLK, .223 Remington, and .308 Winchester calibers. The guns chambered in .308 Win come with 12.5″ barrels and other caliber options are available with 10.5″ barrels. I think probably the most demanded caliber will be the .300 BLK. Just imagine what a cool rig would make a 700-CP with a suppressor and a brace (or SBRed).

Other features of the Model 700-CP include the threaded muzzle with a thread protector, top Picatinny rail, M-LOK accessory mounting slots on the handguard, X Mark Pro adjustable trigger, Magpul MIAD pistol grip, and rear single point QD sling swivel socket. This pistol will be shipped with one 10-round magazine. The MSRP is $1,020.

870 SIDE FOLDER

Although there is a ton of aftermarket folding stocks for the iconic Remington 870 shotgun, it is good to have such offering from the manufacturer itself. The polymer stock of the 870 Side Folder shotgun folds to the right side of the gun. The Side Folder comes with an 18.5″ barrel (threaded for Remchokes), 6-round magazine, bead sight, drilled and tapped receiver and Tapco SAW pattern pistol grip. The forearm has molded-in hand stops and M-LOK slots on its top forward portion. The gun also ships with a hand strap. The MSRP of Remington 870 Side Folder shotgun is $569.

V3 Tac-13 “Firearm”

Another shotgun “firearm”/not-an-SBS thing that Remington brought to the SHOT. It’s quite a handy and lightweight semi-auto shotgun and should be a nice range toy. Also since remington took over marlin fire arms ,they should reintroduce marlins 450 ,338 express an 308 marlinexpress chamberings it would be a shame to let these 3 calibers die !Plus i would like to see remington make ammo for them espacialy the 450 say 405 gr flat point, and 350 grain flat points
