Welcome everyone to the 245th edition of 'Hot Gat or Fudd Crap?', one of our many series here on TFB. If you’re new to the series, this is where we look at the most obscure firearms that are actually for sale and ask the question - is this Gat a sweet deal or only have Fudd appeal? Each week the TFB staff weighs in with their thoughts, but readers get the final say in the poll at the bottom of each article.

In our last edition, our poll showed that you, the readers, decided the custom 10/22 combo was a hot gat.

At this time the original auction has ended with the dual 10/22 combo selling for $2,499. Congratulations to GunBroker buyer ARAdventurerKY on the purchase of your certified hot gat.

In this week's edition of HGFC, we look at a Snap-On tools-themed Sig P320 chambered in 9mm. As is tradition, this bright red gat is currently up for sale on GunBroker for $699.95 Buy It Now.

HOT GAT or FUDD CRAP? Multi-Tool or You're a Fool?

Let's see what the Staff had to say about this week’s offering:

"This theme would've been so much more appropriate if it were chambered in 10mm.” -Doug E.
"This is a portable industrial hole punch, officer, and you're part of the reason why everyone hates the TSA these days. Hot gat.”. - James Reeves
"Snap On, or Nap On? After 6 PBRs and an inebriated gaze across my garage, I'd find this gun appealing.” - Adam S.
"Harbor Freight livery would have been more appropriate. Fudd crap.” - Daniel Y.

Selling this toolbox-ready gat is GunBroker seller a-1pawnandgun, located in Tampa FL. Let’s see what they had to say about this Snap-On-themed SIG.

Honestly, after over 200 editions of this series, I’m surprised I haven’t seen more of these SIG P320 builds. With how easy it is to interchange parts, you'd think these would be the go-to handguns to modify. Not that I think any of them should be modified as horrendously as this.

Don’t get me wrong, tool guys are like gun guys, and the two go hand in hand. If there’s one thing you’ll never be able to explain to your wife, it’s how much you’ve spent on tools, firearms, ammunition, etc. It’s just a language that doesn’t translate. This, however, seems like doubling down, and last I checked the couch wasn’t that comfortable.

What do you think? Is this Snap-On-Themed P320 worth it for a shade under $700 or are you better off having something a little more plain for toolbox carry? As always I leave it up to you, the readers, to decide.

What do you think? Is this Snap-On SIG P320 a Hot Gat or Duracoat-covered Fudd Crap? Be sure to let us know in the comments below, and cast your vote to let us know if this Sig Sauer P320 Snap-On Tools Tribute Duracoat 9mm is a Hot Gat or Fudd Crap:

I would not buy this handgun. However as a former Matco Tool Truck guy, many of the totally loyal Snap-On customers wouldn't even speak to me, and I'm thinking they will snap up this one, so I voted Hot Gat. I DO think the seller doesn't understand the Snap-on customers, who are likely to pay WAY more for a product, as long as it is $25/week. He should be asking about $2,100 for the gat. I hope he hasn't violated any copyright laws - those can lead to expensive lawsuits.

Still functional, Duracoat and the price isn't totally silly. I still wouldn't buy it but I'm not into nickel or Stainless handguns, either
