As regular readers of TFB surely know by now, the XM7 is a part of the U.S. Army's Next Generation Squad Weapon (NGSW) program. Designed by SIG Sauer, the XM7 is a 6.8mm rifle meant to replace the M4 and other legacy rifles, offering greater firepower and range. The XM7 is often paired with the advanced XM157 Fire Control System, which integrates optics and ballistic calculation to assist soldiers in acquiring targets with precision.
